Happy Kids, Happy Parents!

  5 of 5

Our daughters, ages 2 and 4, have been attending the Children's Center for about 15 months and we are thrilled with the experience they are having. The staff are extremely professional and provide a nurturing and educational environment. The toddler and Pre-K programs are well-organized, and our girls are really blossoming in this environment. They love going to "school" every day, and speak fondly of their caregivers and friends. From the parent perspective, the Center is fantastic. The hours are flexible, the cost is reasonable and the adult-to-child ratio provides us with great comfort. The facility is clean, organized and well-equipped - with awesome indoor and outdoor play spaces. In addition to monthly newsletters, menus and "as-needed" notifications, the Center provides daily written feedback detailing our girl's experiences. As a result, we feel very connected to their activities, their behavior and their nutrition. Thanks to the caring and professional staff at the Center, we could not be more happy with our daughter's childcare and Pre-K experiences! Lori Emery & Melissa Mills

Wonderful teachers, clean & very well organized!

  5 of 5

My son attended the SUNY Ulster children's center from 4 months to 5 years old and he simply adored all of his care givers & teachers. They took such excellent care of him as an infant that I never had a moments worry (and I'm one of the paranoid, overly protective types). He attended pre-school there this past year and his teachers were excellent - kind, academically creative, & energetic. The director is super organized and the staff seem to attend conferences and training sessions regularly to stay current. The children even get a hot lunch from the college cafeteria when the college is in session. They have a great playground and a huge indoor playroom for days that are too hot, cold or rainy to go outside. Talk to the faculty and staff at the college (most of their children went to the Children's Center) and you will hear rave reviews.
