Sales Representative

HVP is a team and we work together support your success. If you have sales experience, other than retail, HVP is for you.
Things to Know:
* Sales only base plus commissions (no quotas)
* Training provided
* Significant volume of telephone calls required
* In addition to helping clients with print advertising, we offer web, e-mail and event opportunities.
* Hours generally 8:30 am-5:00 pm, M-F (Full Time)
Qualifications: Self-motivated. Strong presentation, time management and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently. Excellent verbal communication skills. Great listening ability. Bonus: CRM and multimedia sales & marketing experience.

Writer
We actively seek submissions from freelance writers. Many are based in the mid-Hudson Valley of New York, although some are national writers. We typically run three feature articles in each publication every month (800-1,200 words).
We look for carefully researched features by writers with well-developed interviewing styles and a clear knowledge of our audience. First-person accounts are preferred, as our research shows that our readers want to read about other people and their experiences.
