Children berry picking
Picking your own fruit is one of the many treasures of summer family memories. Strawberries which typically kick off the season will start late May to early June and only stay around for a few short weeks. Other berries for picking throughout the summer include blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. Scroll down to find a favorite farm near you.

Dutchess County


Barton Orchards, Pick your own fruits and vegetables beginning the last week of July. Peaches, apples, plums and more. County Rte. 7 off Beekman Rd., Poughquag. Open July to December. 845-227-2306

Fraleigh's Rose Hill Farm, Blueberries kick off the season in late June. Other berries vary but have included, cherries and raspberries. 19 Rose Hill Farm, Red Hook. Summer hours begin July 1, Wednesday- Saturday 8am-1pm.




Greig Farm
