Triangle Pose

As busy parents, we multi-task constantly. Trying to get as much done as possible at once, we seek out shortcuts and time-savers. If only for this reason, yoga is one of the best go-to exercises. This discipline strengthens the body while increasing flexibility, balance and calmness of mind.

Triangle Pose is a wonderful example of the multifaceted nature of yoga. We often choose this move because of the deep hamstring and waist stretch. But do this stretch correctly, hold it 30-60 seconds, and you will likely be surprised at just how sore your waist is the following day. Lengthen your breath  and relax your face as you practice this rewarding asana.
