Let's face it- your mouth waters at the thought of biting into a sugary, cinnamon-y slice of goodness that can be found at most farm stands and orchards throughout the fall. It’s cider donut season and I am ready for it!

While we do have quite a few of the best orchards in the Hudson Valley right here in our backyards finding the most delicious cider donuts is no small feat.

That's why we asked the experts (that’s YOU!) for help so when apple picking, pumpkin picking and fall fun come around we will all be ready for the deliciousness that is cider donuts. 1. Dubois Farms, Highland

3. Hurds Family Farm, Modena
Families can enjoy apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, jumping pillow, cow train and a cornfield maze. Feed farm pets and play in the kid's corral plus brand new adventure course for 2018! Open August-November. 845-883-7825

4. Locust Grove Fruit Farm, Milton
Apple picking, pumpkins, flowers and a variety of seasonal produce, baked goods, cider, home make cider donuts and wagon rides. Open Columbus Day through beginning of November. 845-795-5194

5. Soons Orchards, New Hampton
Enjoy a day on the farm taking a wagon ride out to the pumpkin fields or apple picking in the fall. Enjoy fresh pressed apple cider, homemade fudge, donuts and other delicious treats too. 845-374-5471

7. Minard's Family Farm, Gardiner

8. Meadowbrook Farm Market, Wappingers Falls
