legoland

The summer may be heating up but Legoland is providing the perfect place to cool down with your whole family. A short drive to neighboring Westchester County you will find a Lego Lover’s dream. Legoland Discovery Center is where Lego fans of all ages are transplanted into a world were Legos rule! Especially great for families with children of varying ages, Legoland was featured in our Top List of Places Siblings can Play Together.

Here you will go on a quest, watch a 4D movie, build and race your own Lego creations, build a Lego city and more. For the younger kids a specially designated Duplo Village awaits even the tiniest creators while older kids enjoy the one of a kind Lego construction site among other building attractions.

All of next month, you have a chance to win annual passes to Legoland by taking a selfie! In August, adult Lego fans are invited to sing and dance their way through Lego Karaoke, music trivia and more.

You can easily spend an entire morning or afternoon exploring Legoland. As you enter, you are greeted by Professor Brick-a-Brack where you will learn the ropes of Lego creation with a factory tour. Here you will also get a specially marked Lego to take home. After leaving the factory tour, you line up for the Kingdom Quest ride where you challenge each other to shoot the most skeletons and trolls to get the highest score. After leaving the ride you walk through the amazing MINILAND with more than 1.5 million Lego bricks create miniature life that moves, lights up and plays sound. The main part of the center is next with different zones including race cars, earthquake tables, building academy, Lego Friends, City Builders and more all surrounding the main feature, Lego Construction Site.
