Summer Fun: Travel Back in Time an Exciting Living Museum

Something new and fun to do every day this summer in the Hudson Valley

Summer Fun

With a trip to
Museum Village, you can travel back in time without having to leave the Hudson Valley! This open-air historical museum re-creates life in the 19th century, complete with a blacksmith, candle shop, schoolhouse, and Harry, one of only three full mastodon skeletons in the whole world. You can spend an entire day living like your ancestors, and still make it home in time to cook a modern dinner.

Read about great ways to prepare for your trip, things to bring, terms you should know and even an awesome Homemade Butter Recipe to do at home on HVP's Complete Field Trip Guide to Museum Village (Download a copy for your family!)
