Summer
Fun Day #12
One of my favorite things about summer is all the wonderful local ice cream shops and finding some of the most delicious frozen treats! We asked last year where your favorite ice cream shop in the Hudson Valley is and the response was overwhelming! The messages, e-mails and comments came pouring in especially about one local favorite in Monroe.
The nicest people and the service, price and quality unbeatable. -Richard
Best by far IceMother & Sons !!! Amazing. -Robert
The IceMother & Sons LLC is serving up smiles and a whole lot of blue tongues from their Italian Ice truck in Monroe, NY. 'I'll make you a flavor you can't refuse!!!', the tagline on their website reads. From the Tony Spumoni to the Coney Island Cotton Candy, they have 22 premier flavors plus a number of other sweet treats including Skinnies (Sugar Free) ices, shakes and cookie sandwiches reminiscent of the good 'ole days in Brooklyn.
My personal favorite feature- give them a call, or better yet text them your order, they will deliver right to your home or business! You can bet you will catch them at local events and fairs this summer, or give a call for home delivery. 845-549-5553.
Not only do they have fantastic treats, they are great people. We asked them to come last night because my daughter and her friends had a rough day with the algebra regents, and they came even though they had a packed day of events already. Best ice cream shop ever, and it comes to you! -Aimee
