Dutchess County

July 26

Blueberry Bash. Spend the day enjoying live music and trying yummy blueberry-themed foods at the Fishkill Farms Grill. Plus, lots of fun activities for the family. Fishkill Farms, Hopewell Junction. 9am.

August 2-3

Mid-Hudson Comic Con. The largest pop culture event in the Hudson Valley Exhibitors, Panels, Cosplay, Gaming, Contest, Celebrities and more. MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center, Poughkeepsie. 10am.  

August 29-31

34th Annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival. Bring your blankets and chairs to watch hot-air balloons ascend from the designated picnic area. Watch in awe as hot-air balloons fill the skies and as they light the night with an illumination moon glow display paired with a fireworks display. Plus, lots of fun activities, food and drink. Tymor Park, 249 Duncan Rd., Lagrangeville. Times vary.

Orange County

July 17-27

Orange County Fair. New York's oldest fair features family entertainment, thrilling midway rides for all ages, Friday night fireworks and favorite fair food. Fair admission includes the Anastasini Circus, Join the Circus Show, Thriller - Michael Jackson Tribute Show, Be A Star Video Karaoke show, an educational petting zoo, community exhibits, and live music on two stages. Visit the website for daily specials including Carload Night (July 21), VIP concert tickets and grandstand events. Orange County Fairgrounds, Middletown. 4pm.

July 18

Orange County Freedom Fest. Annual festival featuring local vendors, food trucks and live music. A fireworks display set to music and a drone light show will begin at dusk. Glass containers, pets, pop-up tents and sparklers are not permitted. Rain date July, 25.. Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Montgomery. 4pm. 

July 24-27

The Country Fair 2025. Live entertainment, 4-H exhibits, animal shows, amusement rides, tractor pulls, delicious food, local vendors, life skills demonstrations and so much more! CCEOC Education Center & 4, Otisville. Times vary.

August 23

Hudson Valley's Fiery Farm Hot Sauce Festival. Get ready to taste a variety of hot sauces from local vendors, enjoy live music, and participate in fiery contests. Whether you're a hot sauce enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out, this event is sure to bring the heat! Don't miss out on this flavorful extravaganza! Long Lot Farm Brewery, Chester. 1pm. 

August 30

Village of Montgomery Tractor Parade. A six-man band from Coldenham, The Bunker Boys are a melodious freight train of hillbilly havoc running all over the Hudson Valley! Chambers Tractor Sales, Inc., Montgomery. 12pm. 

August 9

Bella Notte Italiana-Italian Festival. Delicious Italian Food! Handcrafters! Local wineries & more! *Live performances by *Sal "The Voice" Valentinetti, Golden Buzzer winner of America's Got Talent. *Christian Guardino, American Idol Finalist & Vittorio DiCarlo, "The Graceful Tenor." *Italian Folk Dancers performing "The Tarantella. August 9-10, 16-17

Flower Festival. Featuring flowers, food and drinks, animals, farm fun and Live Music. Wright Family Farm, Warwick. 12pm

August 14-17, 21-24, 28-Sept. 1

2nd Annual Corn Craze. Bring the family for some good, corny fun. Take aim with our corn cannon. Wander through the corn maze. Search for all our scavenger hunt clues. Play with the kids in our playground. Watch one of our special events or shows. Challenge your friends to Cornball. All this and so much more fun for the whole family. Dogwood Acres Family Farm,

New York Renaissance Faire. Guests will enjoy an exciting, eclectic mix of fun and frivolity. Leave this century behind, join us and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and flavors of a day in a beautiful, bustling 16th century shire with hundreds of daring, talented and zany villagers. Tuxedo Park. 10am

Ulster County

July 19-20, 26-27

The Hudson Valley Peach Fest. Come to the orchard to pick your own peaches and enjoy delicious food and Weed Orchards wine! This is a family friendly event, the playground will be open, tractor rides begin at noon, and we allow friendly, leashed dogs on the property. Admission tickets are required for all guests 5 and older to enter the orchard and winery. Event is held rain or shine. General Admission ticket fee does not include food, drinks or produce. Weed Orchards & Winery, Marlboro. 10am. 

July 19

RCAL's 3rd Annual Disability Awareness Parade. Celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the contributions of people with disabilities in our community. The parade will culminate in a family-friendly Resource Fair featuring a bounce house, children’s games, live music, delicious food, and local non-profits sharing information about their missions. This event is free and open to the public. Let’s march together for awareness and accessibility! We would love to have you join, whether you are a DayHab group out to march for accessibility rights or a local business showing your love and support. To join, call 845-331-0541 x12. July 26

94th Anniversary Woodstock Library Fair. A home-town party celebrating the community of Woodstock as a center of the arts. This year’s theme “which way the wind blows” is inspired by one-time resident Bob Dylan’s Subterranean Homesick Blues. Choose your own adventure at The Fair: find a deal in the famous Book Barn; eat and drink delicious foods and beverages including; listen to live music all day long; win exciting raffle prizes; purchase cool library merch; purchase your fall wardrobe in the clothing tent; slide down the bouncy water slide; jump in multiple Bounce Houses; paint your face; make art; and design a hat. Woodstock Library, Woodstock. 10am. 

July 29-Aug. 3

Ulster County Fair. Enjoy a wide variety of thrilling rides for all ages! Great live music every night of the fair! Racing pigs, fireworks, a petting zoo & more! Sensory Safe Hours (Rides available without lights or music) Wednesday – Sunday, 10am to 11am (no rides) Wednesday & Thursday, 11am to 12 noon. Ulster County Fairgrounds, New Paltz. 4pm. 

August 2-3

Sweet Corn Festival. Get ready for a corntastic celebration at Kelder's Farm's Sweet Corn Festival! Join us for a weekend dedicated to the sweet taste of summer, featuring U-Pick sweet corn, roasted corn on the cob, and so much more! Kelder's Farm, Kerhonkson. 10am. 

August 9-11, 14-18, 21-25, 28- Sept. 1

Sunflower Extravaganza Festival. Wander through a 6-acre field of majestic sunflowers—thousands of blooms in a rainbow of colors and varieties. This year, they have planted even more sunflowers, creating an even more breathtaking display! Plus, enjoy breathtaking views of Mohonk and the Rondout Valley. Kelder's Farm, Kerhonkson. 10am. 

August 9-10

Taste of Summer Food Truck Takeover. There will be a watermelon themed bar where guests can purchase watermelon themed drinks! Our farm will have plenty of peaches and apples available to pick. This is a family friendly event, the playground will be open, tractor rides begin at noon, and we allow friendly, leashed dogs on the property. Admission tickets are required for all guests 5 and older to enter the orchard and winery. Event is held rain or shine. *General Admission ticket fee does not include any food, drinks, or produce. Weed Orchards & Winery, Marlboro. 10am. 

August 9

Women of Reggae Fest-Reggae in the Garden! Celebrate Jamaica's Independence at the Women of Reggae Fest happening outdoors in the Garden Saturday, Aug 9th ft. Worl A Girl and more! Colony, Woodstock. 4pm. 

Woodstock Festival of Awakening 2025. A soul-stirring celebration set in the serene beauty of Bearsville Park, this is a day to connect, reflect, and awaken through music, movement, and mindful community. From sacred Kirtan performances to thought-provoking Awakening Talks, immersive healing workshops, and playful children’s yoga, this is not your typical Saturday in the Catskills. Expect a deeply nourishing day for the body, mind, and spirit! Bearsville Center, Woodstock. 12pm. 

August 9

36th Annual Ellenville Blueberry Festival. Numerous vendors, delicious blueberry treats, a FREE kid’s carnival zone, an amateur’s only blueberry muffin contest, and SO MUCH MORE! Ellenville. 9am. 

August 16

Hudson Valley Caribbean Festival 2025. Join the Hudson Valley in celebrating the rich culture of the West Indies, enjoy entertainment, and explore vendors! Kingston Point Beach, Kingston. 12pm. 

August 16-17, 23-24

Honeycrisp Fest. Enjoy the beautiful Hudson Valley views as you pick your own produce! There will be lots of family friendly activities, face painting, playground, hayrides, and live music! We will be serving special apple themed food and drinks and delicious Jane’s ice cream. Don’t forget to get your apple cider donuts! Our farm will have plenty of apples available to pick. This is a family friendly event, the playground will be open, tractor rides begin at noon, and we allow friendly, leashed dogs on the property. Admission tickets are required for all guests 5 and older to enter the orchard and winery. Event is held rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable. *General Admission ticket fee does not include any food, drinks, or produce. Weed Orchards & Winery, Marlboro. 10am. 

Sullivan County

August 15-17

2025 Sullivan County Youth Fair. Come celebrate all that Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County 4-H youth members, leaders, volunteers, and clubs have accomplished throughout the year. From creative still exhibits to entertaining live animal shows, there is something for everyone! Join us in celebrating the hard work and dedication of our 4-H youth and volunteers! Grahamsville Fairgrounds, Grahamsville. 10am. 

July 26-27

Borscht Belt Fest 2025. Borscht Belt Fest 2025 is a weekend of live comedy, culture, and food celebrating the golden era of the Catskills.  With live performances, retrospectives, panels, and Q&As, the festival draws Baby Boomers and Gen Zers alike. The two-day festival takes place July 26-27 in Ellenville, NY (88 miles north of NYC). This is the marquee summer event for the Borscht Belt Museum, which opened in 2023.  Purchase tickets here or at https://www.borschtbeltfest.org. In addition, the streets of Ellenville will come alive with Jewish food vendors, klezmer music, cooking workshops, local artisans, and more. Outdoor events are FREE and open to the public/families/dogs. Indoor events are ticketed. Borscht Belt Museum, Ellenville. 9am. 

Putnam County

August 16-17

14th Putnam County Wine & Music Fest. Get ready to enjoy live music with your family and friends at the 14th Annual Putnam County Wine & Music Fest (formerly Putnam County Wine & Food Fest)! This celebrated festival will showcase a variety of exceptional ciders, spirits, and wines from top producers, along with live musical performances, gourmet food, arts and crafts, exhibits, cooking demonstrations, and children's activities from face painting, sand art, and cornhole games. Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park, Carmel. 11am.
