“No OneRocks Alone” Music Festival. Join James’s Warr;ors for an electrifying
experience at the “No One Rocks Alone” music festival! The nonprofit transforms
Brexel-Schlathaus Park in the Town of Wappingers Falls into a haven for music
lovers and mental health warriors. Six Bands: Circle 65, Pandemonium, Follow
Suit, The Differents, Jimmy Lee Duo, and Big Ang Acoustic. Food trucks,

LaGuelaguetza Festival. After a week of exploring and showcasing Oaxacan culture
and traditions during Oaxaca Week in Poughkeepsie, the 17th-annual La
Guelaguetza festival brings everyone together at Waryas Park for a day-long
celebration which includes traditional Oaxacan dances and costumes, artwork,
crafts, live music, kids’ activities and a whole lot of authentic Oaxacan food!

August 11
Beacon Sloop Club Corn Festival. Featured is fresh-picked, sweet
Hudson Valley corn, boiled and served with butter. In addition, treats such as
chilled watermelon and ice-cold, freshly squeezed lemonade will be available to
quench your thirst on this August day. Two solar-powered music stages, one
dedicated to the children to enjoy, will provide live music throughout the day.
Numerous food and craft vendors will be on hand. Environmental non-profits will
feature displays of local river history and the environment, along with
information about their organizations. Families can enjoy many free activities
for children. Guests can enjoy the day surrounded by the majestic Hudson River.

178th Dutchess County Fair. The 6-day Dutchess County Fair will
feature agriculture, horticulture, turn-of-the-century treasures, working blacksmith
shop & gas-powered engine show, and so much more…. Dutchess County
Fairgrounds, Rhinebeck. 10am.
August 23-25, August 30-September 2
6th Annual Sunflower Festival. The Sunflower Festival offers
something for everyone! Take a hayride up to a breathtaking five-acre rolling
field with about 100,000 sunflowers in a variety of sizes and colors. Take your
time cutting sunflowers and taking pictures in one of the most photographed
spots in the Hudson Valley. Enjoy live music, wine, and beer served next to the
field, entertainment as well as a variety of craft vendors. Guests are encouraged to bring small
gardening shears to cut their sunflowers, as our supply is very limited due to
a shortage from our supplier. Shears will be available for rent during the
festival on a first come first serve basis. Barton Orchards, Poughquag. 4pm.

The 33rdAnnual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival. We will welcome hot-air
balloonists from all over the country at this festival. We have scheduled over
100 hot-air balloon ascensions throughout the weekend. The festival’s history
has evolved into a Hudson Valley tradition and has grown into a full weekend of
activities, drawing thousands of visitors from all over the world. Some of the festival favorites are the
evening Majestic Hot-Air Balloon Illumination Moon Glow, tethered hot-air
balloon rides, full hot-air balloon flights, helicopter rides, live music and
entertainment, food trucks, family activities and more. Tymor Park,

Orange County Fair. We look for the best in family
entertainment, local and national music, and awesome amusement rides each year.
In 2024, we are back and better than ever with an amazing lineup of Tribute
Bands in our new theater, spectacular entertainment like the All NEW Join the
Circus Show, Anastasini Circus, Big Bee Transforming Robot Car, and much more! Orange County Fairgrounds, Middletown. 4pm.
July 19
2024 Freedom Fest.
The County’s fireworks show will include a special salute to our veterans and feature live music as well as a variety of food trucks and vendors. Attendees can purchase food from vendors throughout the evening or bring their own (no glass or bottles permitted). Fireworks will begin at dusk. Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Montgomery. 4pm.

The Country Fair 2024. The Country Fair will have something
for everyone, including live entertainment, 4-H exhibits, animal shows,
amusement rides, tractor pulls, delicious food, local vendors, life skills
demonstrations and so much more! Sunday Night Fireworks! 9pm. During the fair,
there will be sensory time from 1pm-3 Saturday and Sunday. Middletown. 10am.

Family Fun Day. Get ready for Family
Fun Day! Bring your family and friends for a day full of games, food, music,

Butterflies & Blooms Festival Finale. An afternoon of summer fun celebrating the beauty and ecology of our local pollinators. Bounce along in the Butterfly Wagon as we pass field and forest (4–6pm). Enjoy free butterfly-themed activities, crafts, and games, and bring cash (preferred) or credit card for face painting, the Stony Kill pop-up shop, and food trucks (4–7:30pm). Circus Pop! The Giant Bubble Show.
This intimate live bubble show in the Sweet Spot Kids Corner will offer drinks,
delicious snacks, & a whole lot of bubbles! Circus Pop! The Giant Bubble
Show is a production of Suesakul Shows. The show premiered in 2023 and it
features Ringling Bros. alumnus, Logan Jimenez. For 60 minutes, Logan will keep
children of all ages on the edge of their seats. Logan combines crazy circus
stunts such as fire-eating, daring escapes, and crawling inside a giant balloon
with incredible bubble artistry. He effortlessly creates bubble sculptures,
bubbles that burst into flames, and bubble volcanoes. Sugar Loaf Performing

2024 Sullivan County Youth Fair. Come celebrate all that Cornell Cooperative
Extension Sullivan County 4-H youth members, leaders, volunteers, and clubs
have accomplished throughout the year. From creative still exhibits to
entertaining live animal shows, there is something for everyone! Grahamsville

Grahamsville Little World’s Fair. 2024 marks the 144th annual fair
which will feature agricultural and livestock exhibits and contests, daily
entertainment including live music and demonstrations, rides for all ages, an
array of great food, games, vendors, and a whole lot more! Admission includes
free parking, access to exhibits and contests, and free entertainment! Rides are not included in the
admission prices above and are extra fees. Sensory Friendly session (no
music or lights) for sensory-sensitive riders only will take place on Saturday

Fuller Moon Arts Festival. Experience performance, art, and nature in a stunning lakeside setting. Visitors can explore Wonderville, a village of interactive curiosities, join in workshops - belly dancing, circle singing, printing and much more. We have three live bands lined up to entertain, and the premiere of a site-specific dance story by Warwick Dance Collective. The evening brings a special treat. The audience is invited to dance along with acrobats, drummers, and young dancers from Forces of Nature Dance Theatre. Fuller Moon is suitable for all ages and abilities, and you’ll want to stay all day. We’ve got a great line up of food trucks, a lakeside bar, and a curated maker market. NineteenthCentury Base Ball Showcase. The Mountain Athletic Club (MAC) of Fleischmanns
will face off with the Connecticut Base Ball Club of Hartford for a
double-header of 1864 and 1895 rules baseball. “These are no ordinary ball
games,” states Collin Miller, captain of the MAC. “The players and the style of
play will resemble what your great, or great-great grandparents would’ve seen
over 125 years ago.” Displays featuring local nineteenth-century ball clubs
included. Baseball-style refreshments and souvenirs available for purchase. Grahamsville

biochar to a soil safari and scavenger hunt, there’s something for everyone.
