I think the choice is really about finding the right school for your child and you. You may have more than one child and a school that seemed like a great fit for your older child might not be working for your younger child. For example, if your child works best in a group and benefits from moving around throughout the day then a school where the majority of work is independent and students are expected to sit for sustained periods of time may not be a good fit. Also, a good deal of our expectations of a school harks back to our own learning experiences. We may want a school very similar to the one we attended.
