No Gym Required/Hips: Pilates Hip Circles

Pilates Hip Circles
The best workouts are the ones we actually have time to do. Instead of getting into your car and driving to the gym, just lie on your side and circle your foot. Although this move looks easy, it is surprisingly challenging when done correctly and works your hips, abs, waist and shoulder:
  • Lie on your side, and line up your shoulder, hip and knee
  • Be sure your top foot is parallel to the ground as you slowly circle it.
  • Don't allow your body to move during this exercise--engage your core.
  • Lift your bottom ribs to ensure good alignment and work your waist.
  • Complete 10 slow circles in each direction before changing sides.
  • Breathe naturally throughout.
