Use other people's words to create your poem

A challenge for the entire family

Found Poetry Challenge

The Daniel Pierce Library in conjunction with Lisa Caloro, the Sullivan County Poet Laureate, has created a unique challenge for the entire family.

They call this poem creation idea FOUND POETRY CHALLENGE.

According to library staff, this is a unique time, and they wanted to challenge all adults and their kids too.

They are asking you to write a poem by choosing words from 3 sources like a menu, a song or a book. Use words from those sources to create your poem. Don't use any of your own words.

What fun. Encourage your entire family to participate. Use the words you see to set your creativity on fire.
