Happy Wednesday morning from NYC, where the sun is shining and the skies are blue! One quick thought for you today that might prove helpful:
My daughter was complaining about the day camp she's in. It's a performing arts day camp, and it's only for a few weeks to kill the time before school starts. She was saying it was too easy for her, the classes weren't challenging, etc.
I told her what I'd learned a long time ago: We are the product of what we put into our world. It's pretty simple: If you go in with a good attitude, you're more likely to have a good result, even when things go bad. Go in with a bad attitude, and you're already behind the eight ball.
To put it another way, you make your own happiness. You always do. You attract what you put out. Be negative, get negative. Be positive, get positive. In the grand scheme, we're nothing more than humans with emotional battery terminals.
One more bonus of going in with a good attitude? Most people don't. Different stands out and usually wins.
Go out and make some happiness today.
Speak to you soon,
-Peter
