Are you looking for some last minute fun for your family this Halloween? Have no fear! We have lots of things that are happening this weekend. So grab the kids and get spooked at one of these great events.

Brick-or-Treat - October 30 & 31

Halloween spectacular that’s built for kids – featuring costume contests, dance parties, and trick-or-treating! 3pm. LEGOLAND New York Resort, One Legoland Blvd., Goshen. (845) 410-0290.

Teatown's Enchanted Forest - October 30 & 31

Something important is lost in Teatown’s woods and must be found! Enter the Enchanted Forest for a guided adventure featuring a cast of whimsical characters and familiar forest friends. For Families. The Pumpkin Express - October 30 & 31

Take a spectacular journey along the former Ulster & Delaware Railroad corridor and see the natural beauty of the Catskills from our railroad’s unique perspective aboard Ulster County’s only scenic train. Our Pumpkin Express trains have an added bonus – passengers will be able to select their own pumpkin to take home and decorate. Pumpkins will be spread out on the flat cars for passengers to select their favorite to take home. Westbrook Lane Station in the Kingston Plaza, 55 Kingston Plaza Road, Kingston. Haunted Funhouse - October 30-31

The Haunt is located at Studio 845 in the Newburgh Mall (next to Office Depot). The Haunt is Open to All Ages but is Not Recommended for the Faint of Heart! Night Market at Peace, Love & Pumpkins - October 30-31

Join us on Halloween weekend for our first-ever Night Market at Peace, Love & Pumpkins! No tricks, just treats! On Friday, October 29 thru Sunday, October 31, shop more than 50 craft and specialty food vendors! 6:30pm. 200 Hurd Road, Bethel.

Town of Chester Trunk or Treat - October 30

This is a walk-through event featuring all your favorite community vehicles and members handing out treats. Open to all – Halloween attire, please. Chester Commons Park, 77 Laroe Road, Chester. 845-469-7000 ext. 102. 11am

2021 Haunted Hamlet - October 30

Featuring seven PG-rated art installations/trick-or-treating stations around Maxon Mills and the Luther Barn field. From 3PM to 7PM, explore an all-encompassing banana invention hut, giant Plinko game, mutant forest, dancing candy spirits, Halloween-themed “Let’s Make a Deal” game, fairytale witches hut, and a fibrous candy monster. Free for all ages, but RSVP so we can get enough candy! 3:00pm. Maxon Mills, 37 Furnace Bank Road, Wassaic.

2nd Annual Jeep Trunk or Treat - October 30

HVJP & JBG NY Chapter presents their 2nd annual Jeep Trunk or Treat. Come celebrate with the kids dressed to impress for candy and fun. Jeeps and drivers will be decorated as well. 6pm. Tractor Supply Co., 1611 Ulster Ave, Lake Katrine.

2nd Annual Trunk or Treat - October 30

Join us along with our friends the Road Knights and Manzer’s Landscaping as we bring you cool cars, plenty of sweets, and some spooky decorations as the kids get to trick or treat in our parking lot. A Very Fluffy Halloween - Alpacas in Costumes - October 30

This year has more alpacas in Halloween costumes, goats too - who knows maybe Ducky the llama will join in the fun this year. Come dressed up for the event or just let our alpaca Lady Valentina Von Sparkles shine. See goats and alpacas dressed up in costumes. There will plenty of opportunities to take pictures with the alpacas in costumes. Fun Craft will be wet felting soap with real fiber in great fall colors for you to take home. HalloWoodstock 2021 - October 30

This is a family-friendly, ticketed event, where people of all ages can come meet rescued farmed animals, eat delicious vegan food, and enjoy a compassionate Halloween. Costume contest. Email Jenny (jennifer@woodstocksanctuary.org) to reserve your spot. 11am. Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, 2 Rescue Rd, High Falls. 

Hounds of Halloween Dog Walk - October 30

Join the Hudson Valley Horror Fiends & The Town of Pawling Recreation Department for the Hounds of Halloween Dog Walk to benefit Happy Life Animal Rescue! In order to participate, a $5 donation must be made at the entrance and dogs must be leashed & friendly! We strongly encourage costumes for pups AND their people! I SPY Halloween Scavenger Haunt - October 30

Join us for a Monster Mash this Halloween! Ghosts and Ghouls are invited to celebrate Halloween at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum along the I Spy Halloween Trail! Find all of the items hidden along the I SPY trail and a treat will be waiting upon your return! This self-guided activity is a great way for families to celebrate Halloween with COVID-19 precautions in place. Costumes are encouraged! 11am. Kids & Adults Trick or Treat October 30

Meet, Greet & Get a Treat! A fun way to meet Marlborough's local business owners: see their establishments, get to know community civic group representatives and their locations. 2pm. Hamlet of Marlboro, 1 Western Ave., Marlboro.

MyKingstonKids Halloween Fest & Parade October 30

Join us for a spooktacular MyKingstonKids Halloween Festival & Parade for kids and people of all ages with a special Ghostbusters theme. REGISTER AND RECEIVE A FREE GIFT AT THE EVENT! Just show your confirmation email or print-out at the check-in booth on event day. This is a free outdoor event created to promote an exciting, safe, and unique Halloween experience thru stimulating activities. 3pm. YMCA of Kingston and Ulster County, 507 Broadway, Kingston. Trick or Treat Trail October 30

Join Pawling Recreation for some Halloween Fun!!! Walk along the TRICK OR TREAT TRAIL to collect goodies, play games, and have fun with various organizations from the community! Registration is required for everyone. Space is limited. Resident registration starts October 1. Non-resident registration starts October 25. (if space is available). Please note: We estimate completing the trail takes about 30-45 minutes. This is not a 2-hour event!! 3pm. Lakeside Park, 2 Lakeside Drive, Pawling.

Trunk or Treat: Dalmatian Edition - October 30

Join Molly the Museum Dog and some of her closest Dalmatian friends for a unique Trunk or Treat event you will not soon forget. Joining Molly and her friends will be local firefighters with their firetrucks too! Old-fashioned Halloween celebration and a walk through a spooky stable. Participate in creepy crafts, play hauntingly fun games and enjoy sweet treats. Decorate a pumpkin with a headless horseman, spider mummy, spooky horse head or ghostly monster pumpkin to frighten off those Halloween spirits and make a bat-styled candy box filled with sweet treats. Kick off your Halloween at UlsterCorps’ 11th Annual Zombie Escape at Williams Lake in Rosendale. Events include a 5k timed trail run, 2k walk and a free 1k Fun Run for kids. Enjoy the spectacular fall foliage and beautiful trails at Williams Lake, while passing socially distanced zombies and other spooky surprises hiding in the woods, tunnels and caves (no flag belts this year due to COVID). Top finishers will receive awards in gender and age group categories. All kids participating in the 1K Fun Run will receive a prize. 2021 FAIR OAKS DRIVE-IN TRUNK OR TREAT - October 30

$25 a carload for up to 5 people. Over 5 is an additional $5 per person. Pumpkin Painting, Games for all ages, Surprises, and treats. Best costumes for different age categories will be judged. Kiki's Delivery Service  - October 31

The magical adventure of an enterprising young girl who must follow tradition to become a full-fledged witch. Landing in a far-off city, she sets up a high-flying delivery service and begins a wonderful experience of independence and responsibility. Bring your kids in their Halloween finery to take part in a costume parade and photo booth immediately after the film. $5 for members and those with costume and $8 general admission and without costume. Theatre COVID policy: The Rosendale Theatre requires proof of vaccination for entry for patrons over twelve and ID.
