Easter fun this weekend


If Easter snuck up on you this year, you’re not alone — and you’re not out of options. From egg hunts and farm fun to brunches, workshops, and even a Mario-themed adventure, the Hudson Valley is bursting with events that still have room for your family. 


Many of the dining events and ticketed activities may fill quickly or adjust details as the weekend approaches, so it’s always smart to call ahead or check the organizer’s website before you go. Here are the best last-minute ways to make the weekend feel special.


April 3

Bake Sale + Easter Bunny Photos to Benefit HSW. Stop by for delicious homemade baked goods and have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny. Bring the kids, bring your friends, and well-behaved pups are welcome too. Every cookie, cupcake, brownie, and photo help support the animals in our care by providing food, medical treatment, and safe shelter while they wait for their forever homes. Come grab something sweet, snap a festive photo, and help us make a difference for local pets in need. 2pm. 2401 RT-52, Pine Bush.


April 3

Easter Egg Hunt at the Zoo. Join us at Bailiwick Animal Park for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Zoo — a family favorite spring tradition!This special ticketed event features a zoo-wide egg hunt, pony rides, time to explore the animals, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. This is a private ticketed event. The zoo will not be open to the general public during this time. 10am. 118 Castle Road, Catskill.


April 3

Easter Floral and Goodie Basket Workshop. Join us for a luxury Hands on floral design workshop.Create your own fresh arrangement and curated basket with Em's Bouchic X Open Concept. 4pm. 42 North Street, Unit B, Middletown.

Easter Fun at Hurds Family Farm. Join us for a fun-filled Easter celebration at our family farm! Enjoy a full day of activities, fresh air, and springtime memories for all ages. Admission Includes: Meet the Easter Bunny and take your own photos, Giant Slide - fun for kids and adults, Bounce Pillow, Kids Corral Playground Area, and NEW Nature & Hiking Trails winding through our orchards. 11am. April 4

13th annual Easter Egg Hunt. Food, face painting, Easter Bunny, and prizes. Chance to win an Adam's Easter basket or kid's bike. 2 age groups each with a golden egg prize. Over 6,000 eggs hidden.

Check in at 10am. Preregistration is required. 11am. 10 Christmas Tree Drive, Wallkill.


April 4

2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Easter Egg Hunt at 2:00 PM – Three age groups: 4 & under, 5-8 years, 9-12 years. Crafts & Activities for the Whole Family! 1pm. 299 Whitfield Rd, Accord.

Bunny Bash & Breakfast! Join us for a traditional breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon, and more! After, at 12pm, enjoy a FREE outdoor Egg Hunt (rain or shine)!   Breakfast is optional and is $10 for adults and $6 for children. Open to the public! No registration required. 10am. 1230 NY Route 218, West Point.


April 4

The Bunny Express. Passengers will visit with the friendly Easter Bunny before returning to Kingston.

Our train ride includes an Easter Egg Hunt for a perfect activity that’s fun for younger children and adults. Please allow 90 minutes for the complete train ride experience. 10am. 55 Plaza Rd., Kingston.


April 4

Easter Bunny comes to the firehouse. The Easter Bunny is excited to be coming back to the Grahamsville Firehouse again this year. Don't forget your Easter basket as we've been told the bunny will be bringing eggs for all the kids and a special treat (for the first 100 kids). Bring your camera to have lasting memories of this special event. This event is being held inside, so weather won't be an issue. We will have coloring activities for the kids to do while waiting their turn to see the bunny. There will also be fun bunny games to play with prizes for winners. We will also be serving hot dogs, something to drink and cookies. This event is FREE as always. The auxiliary will be selling raffle tickets for an Easter Breakfast Raffle Basket. 11am. 205 Main St, Grahamsville.


April 4

Spring Fun Day & Egg Hunt. – Bring the kids to the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main Street, Goshen, NY on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. for a fun-filled family event. Children create a variety of Easter- and Spring-themed crafts including decorating bags for the egg hunt, festive egg holders and Easter cards. Enjoy refreshments, play horse-themed games, and ride the Harness Racing Simulator. The egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. will be either in the courtyard or inside the Museum, depending on the weather, and will be divided by age groups.  Art supplies are limited.  All this for only $10.00 per child – and parents are free! 10am. 240 Main Street, Goshen.

Super Mario Galaxy Party with Yoshi Egg Hunt. Let's celebrate the release of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie together! Drop in to play games with friends and do all things Mario. This event is primarily for elementary school-age kids, but we welcome all Mario fans and their families. Please register so we know how many to expect. We would love to see you dress up in your favorite overalls, cap, or princess dress. Let's all have fun and save the day like our hero Mario! 1pm. 44 Millpond Pkwy, Monroe.
