WHERE: Museum Village, Monroe
WHEN: September 1&2
Re-enactors bring an important chapter in American history back to life at Museum Village. Hear President Lincoln give the Gettysberg address, meet the Federal and Confederate troops and more educational fun for the whole family.

WHERE: 9 Norton Rd, Rhinebeck
WHEN: September 1&2, 2-4pm
Celebrate and enjoy the flying flivvers of the Golden age as you sit back and enjoy the sights of historic airplanes in flight to both entertain and educate. Gift shop and snack bar open, plus museum filled with aircraft memorabilia.

WHERE: Delano-Hitch Park, Newburgh
WHEN: Labor day weekend; Friday 5-11pm, Saturday and Sunday 12-11pm and Monday 12-10pm
Music, entertainment and carnival midway all weekend.

Join master story teller, Tom Lee, for a tour utilizing art, objects, history and interactivity.

WHERE: Dutchess Stadium

Honor the veterans from all over the Hudson Valley. It's Saturday night out where you can enjoy a variety of cuisines from around the world. Comfort food is the theme of the night. Fireworks after the game.

Walk through the 5acre sunflower field. Cut your own. Activities include corn maze, petting farm, hayrides, playground and jumping pillow.


WHERE: Barton Orchard

Saturday night fireworks and flashlight corn maze, attrackings and pick your own all day. Free hayrides and petting zoo plus concessions.

8. Columbia County Fair
WHERE: Columbia County Fairgrounds, Chatham
WHEN: 10am-11pm on Monday, September 3
There’s plenty of fun for the whole family with entertainment in the grandstands, rides and games and agricultural activities.


9. Cornucopia
WHERE: Philipsburg Manor, Sleepy Hollow

WHEN: 10am-5pm on Monday, September 3
Featuring a bounty of corn-centric delicacies and a bevy of interactive, corn-related activities, including hands-on activities, craft and cooking demonstration, lots of corny cuisine and live music. Lots of fun for the whole family!

10. Labor Day Weekend in the Catskills

WHERE: Frost Valley YMCA, Claryville
WHEN: 6pm on Friday, August 31 to 1pm Monday, September 3
