Kraft Mac and Cheese announces big changes

Kraft announced Monday the plan to replace artificial dyes with colors from natural sources.

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, a staple in many homes of families with small children, announced yesterday big plans to make the product more healthy by discontinuing the use of synthetic colors in the popular Kraft Macaroni and Cheese products.

Starting in January 2016, Kraft will replace the artificial colors including Yellow 5 and Yellow 6 with natural sources such as turmeric, paprika and annatto.

Along with other health food activists, who have been petitioning for the change, we hope the changes will continue through many of their other products including Jell-O and Cool- Aid. Kraft insists that the mac and cheese will look and taste the same- great news for my picky eater!
