From fair food to rides the Hudson Valley is bustling with family-friendly festivals and fairs this June. We are rounding up the best festivals and fairs for the month and updating often so make sure you bookmark this page and check back often!


June 8


18th Annual Livingston Manor Trout Parade. This year's theme of "Trout on the Range" promises to be a boot-stompin', fish-ropin' good time for all. We encourage attendees to come dressed in their best "on the range" attire! Main Street, Livingston Manor. 10am.


Hudson Valley Taco Fest 7. Hudson Valley Taco Fest invades the Newburgh waterfront with Taco Truck Wars! Come devour the best tacos from famous food trucks! Enjoy a Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley tribute band and Latin Mariachi! Wash it all down with the Best Craft + Latin Brew and Sangria and Margaritas! This is a family-friendly event, kids 10 and under are free, and check tickets out starting at $10 (family 4 pack) there will be plenty of games and things to do on this festive taco festival! Taco Truck Wars is Coming! Newburgh waterfront. Newburgh. 1pm. 


Poughkeepsie Pride Parade and Festival. Poughkeepsie Pride Parade and Festival is back. The parade will lineup on Market Street and Main Street and march down Main Street to the family-friendly Festival in Waryas Park. Parade lineup starts at 11 a.m. and steps off at 12pm. Victor C Waryas Park, Poughkeepsie. 12pm. 


June 8-9


New Netherland Marketplace: Living History Event. Throughout this event, visitors will discover Lenape Delaware, Black, and European demonstrators sharing their craftsmanship and culture, and portraying life in 1645 New Netherland. There will be demonstrators and vendors. This event is free and open to the public, but please register if you plan to attend. Historic Huguenot Street. New Paltz. 10am. 


Rhinebeck Crafts Festival 2024This diverse experience is a celebration of all things handmade which includes unique contemporary craft and art, gourmet specialty foods, tastings from Hudson Valley distilleries and wineries, craft demonstrations and more! Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Rhinebeck. 10am. 


Strawberry Festival! Come on out to the farm for our second annual Strawberry Festival! We are loaded with berries! No limits and lower prices this year! Of course this festival is all about the berry so you can satisfy your strawberry cravings with our fresh strawberry shortcake, strawberry springtime sangria, strawberry rhubarb pie, and delectable strawberry dessert pizza. Save room for lunch! We’ll have the pizza ovens fired up and the Tavern will be open. The kids will love a visit with our animals, playing in Tiny Town, and a ride on the wagon. There will also be live music all weekend. DuBois Farms. Highland. 10am.


June 9


The Beacon Sloop Club Strawberry Festival. Come to the Beacon Sloop Club’s beloved annual Strawberry Festival for a fun, family-friendly event on the shores of the majestic Hudson River. Featuring Hudson Valley locally grown fresh picked strawberries, homemade strawberry shortcake topped with real whipped creme, strawberry smoothies and other strawberry delights. Live music, environmental educational displays, a variety of food and artisan hand- made crafts, and some free children’s activities. Free sails on the sloop Woody Guthrie: sign up is at noon at the festival at the merchandise tent.  Bring a blanket and enjoy the festivities of the day surrounded by the Hudson River. New Paltz Regatta 2024. Join New Paltz in their annual regatta! There will be a parade, live music, a bounce house, and face painting! FREE registration! Village of New Paltz. New Paltz. 1pm. 


Woodstock NY Pride ParadeParade Line Up at Comeau Upper Lot. 11am. 12pm: Ribbon Cutting. 12:15pm: Parade Step Off to Colony, 1:15pm: Colony Celebration, 

5pm: Stonewall Inn Pop-up Comeau Upper Lot. Woodstock.  


June 15


9th Annual Car Show (Free Entry). With something for everyone, this event promises to be a blast! Experience the ultimate foodie adventure as you indulge in scrumptious dishes from a diverse range of food trucks and vendors. Groove to the beat of live music and check out the farm market, vendors, dog park, beer garden, petting zoo, and a plethora of exciting activities! Barton Orchards. Poughquag. 11am. 


Shinefest. Music all day performed by local musicians. There will be vendors, including food vendors, on the premises. There will be children's activities such as a craft tent, bounce house, cornhole and more. All proceeds from this year's festival go to the Humane Society of Walden. Gates open at 11:00am. Tickets are "pay what you want" and non-refundable. Bullville Park, Middletown. 11am.


Hudson Valley Food Truck Festival. Get ready for an epic event that will tantalize your taste buds and satisfy your hunger! Experience the ultimate foodie adventure as you indulge in scrumptious dishes from a diverse range of food trucks and vendors. Groove to the beat of live music and check out the farm market, vendors, dog park, beer garden, petting zoo, and a plethora of exciting activities! Barton Orchards. Poughquag. 11am.


7th Annual Juneteenth Celebration & Honoring the Ancestors Dedication. Celebrate the opening of the new African Cultural Center and honor the ancestors at the Pine Street African Burial Ground. FREE! Open to the Public. Food and craft vendors. Plus, information areas. African American Center. Kingston. 12pm. 


Hudson Valley Fermentation Festival. Join us for our Hudson Valley Fermentation Festival 2024, where you can explore a lively market of locally fermented food and beverages. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in a workshop, demo, or talk, led by producers and experts in fermentation. From sour pickles and gooey natto to indulgent cheeses, chocolate and wine, discover and celebrate the diversity and gut-goodness of fermented creations! We'll have live music all day, and we'll be serving up wood-fired pizza, burgers and barbecue. Twin Star Orchards. New Paltz. 12pm. 


June 18


Food Truck Fiesta. Live music, food trucks, beer, wine, and water sold by Bloomington Fire Department! The rain date is following Tuesday. Riverside Ride Festival. Classic carnival treats to gourmet delights, adrenaline-pumping rides to whimsical kiddie rides, and exciting games booths. Poughkeepsie Waterfront, Poughkeepsie.


June 20-22


77th Annual BazaarCreate fun memories for your family! New rides, kiddie corner, gambling casino, music, food, beer, and soft drinks. St. Mary of the Snow & St. Joseph Church Campus, Saugerties. 6pm.
