No Gym Required/Ab Workout: Jackhammers

Jackhammers Ab Move

This move will work your abs in a way that feels very different from traditional crunches and leg lifts. To get the most out of it, follow these guidelines:
  • Don't lift your hips too high, especially in the beginning. You don't want to put pressure on your neck.
  • Although Jackhammers are normally done at a quick pace, start slow until you have good control.
  • Lower your hips with control so that your body doesn't hit the ground.
  • Start with one set of ten until you build enough strength that multiple sets won't create stress on the upper back and shoulders.
