Dutchess County:

McCann Ice Arena. 14 Civic Center Plz., Poughkeepsie. 845-454-5800. Enjoy skating around the arena with the whole family!

Chuck E. Cheese’s. 1895 South Rd., Poughkeepsie. 845-297-9500. Enjoy indoor games that help you win tickets to trade in for prizes. Indoor jungle gyms and rides are fun for all the kids. Also enjoy a musical stage show from Chuck E. Cheese and all of his furry friends! Food and drinks are available for purchase.  

Hyde Park Roller Magic. 4178 Albany Post Rd., Hyde Park. 845-229-6666. Enjoy family fun roller skating with music so you can skate to the beat!  

Mid- Hudson Children's Museum. 75 N. Water St., Poughkeepsie. 845-471-0589. Explore, learn and create with exhibits that get kids moving, exploring, building, pretending, collaborating, creating and discovering. 

DC Sports. 1630 Route 9, Wappingers Falls. 845-632-6621. Recently opened in the former Fun Central Location, DC Sports offers PGA Tour Golf Simulator right now with plans to open an arcade, full service sports bar, skee-ball and race car simulatorshopefully mid- January. And coming this summer; bumper boats, mini golf and Sand Volleyball will also be added.

Mr. Todd's Gymnastics. 12 Olympic Way, Poughkeepsie. 845-473-3966. Sunday Morning Bounce from 9 to 11 am. Open to members and non-members of all ages, and includes bounce castles, rope swing, pre-school equipment and more! $7 per child.

Little Rascals Open Gym. Open October through April ONLY. 793 Route 52, Fishkill. 845-831- 3371. Open gym for toddlers 4 and under and caregivers to make new friends, run and play.

The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms: Open Monday through Friday 12pm-10pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-8pm. 6 Neptune Rd., Poughkeepsie. 845-462-1920. From party walls with fun shapes to steep boulder problems & pumpy lead routes, there's something fun and challenging for everyone!

Beekman Recreation & Parks Indoor Playground. 29 Recreation Center Road, Hopewell Junction. 845-227-5783. This program is designed as an open "gym" setting, allowing toddlers and their grown-up friends to burn off some energy and engage in some fun exercise. Feel free to bring lunch for an indoor picnic. For kids 4 and under. Playground is set up on Fridays during the winter until May 11. 

Ulster County:

BC's New Paltz Climbing Gym. 234 Main St., New Paltz. 845-255-7625. Climbing the rock walls of this indoor facility offers fun for the whole family and for all ages!

The Fun-E Farm. 1300 Ulster Ave., Hudson Valley Mall, Kingston. 845-514-243. Play on the inflatable slides, and weave through the obstacle courses!

Frida's Bakery & Café. 26 Main St.,Milton. 845-795-5550. The top floor of this delicious bakery operated by the owners of Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa offers a large playroom for kids to enjoy while parents can relax with a coffee.

Little Ones Learning Center. 5142 Route 209, Accord. 845-626-4112. A fun and accessible place for children 0-6 to experience a combination of reading, play, song and crafts. Tuesdays, Wednesday and Saturdays from 10 am to noon.

Replace the Parks Program. 467 Broadway, Kingston. 845-481-7337. Drop-in play space at the Andy Murphy Midtown Neighborhood Center for pre-school aged children and their caregivers. Tuesdays through Thursdays, 9 am to 2 pm, from Thanksgiving to April 1.

Orange County:

A family-owned bowling center with 28 synthetic bowling lanes (bumpers always available), a full service bar and food concession, bowling pro shop services, an arcade room, and billiards.
