Among the many holiday traditions this time of year; cutting down the Christmas tree, visiting Santa Claus and baking cookies, visiting Christmas light displays is often at the top of the list. There is something about displays of twinkling and magical dancing lights that brighten up the dark winter nights and put kids of all ages into the Christmas spirit. 

So bundle up the family, jump in the car and don't forget the Christmas carols! Here are our favorite Hudson Valley Christmas light displays. 

Dutchess County

Kevin McCurdy's Holiday Spirit Festival

Admission: Adults/$24.95, children under 12/$21.95. Online fee and NYS sales tax for all tickets. Kids under 2 free. Tickets available online only. Limited ticket capacity each time slot. RESERVATIONS ONLY! Fridays 6pm-9pm, Saturdays 4:30-9pm, Sundays 4:30-8:30pm. “Winter Wonderland Walk” will take guests on a magical Holiday journey through lights, animated displays, interactive character visits, music, and much, much more! Opens November 29. Runs through December 23.

Come drive by and see all the holiday lights and listen to the holiday music that this family offers to the community! Tune your car to 95.3 FM. 
Donations collected for various charities throughout the season. Display begins Friday, November 29. Runs through December 28. 4:45-9:30pm nightly.

Come see one of the best holiday displays in New York. Tune to FM 89.9 to hear over 30 Holiday Songs programmed using WOW Lights. 500 Channels. Watch our home's 100,000 lights pulsate, spin and strobe all to benefit our family's Breast Cancer Foundation. November 28th thru January 2nd from 5:30-10pm every night.

6 Field Ct., Poughkeepsie
Stop by and check out the show each night until New Year's Eve. Lights go up the day after Thanksgiving. They have added 3 new friends to the show. There will be providing a static show display on Tuesdays. This means that the music will be on (just tune in to 87.9FM) and the lights will be on with no dancing to the lights. We hope that will help more people visit during the season. We love the dancing nights but know for a multitude of reasons that might not be for you or your family members. 5-11pm.

Experience The Wonderland of Lights located at The Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, New York. Nov 28– Dec 1, Dec 5-8, nightly Dec 12-29. Sundays-Thursday 5pm-9pm, Fridays & Saturdays 5-9:30pm. This family-friendly holiday drive-thru experience will have hundreds of dazzling displays to delight the entire family! Tickets are available online or at the gate. General Admission tickets start at $30/vehicles up to 8 passengers, $50/Limo | Mini-Bus, and $80/Motorcoach (26 PEOPLE & OVER). Military Discount $25.

Prepare to be dazzled! We are so excited to announce this season's Festival of Lights 2024 when our orchard is magically transformed into an illuminated forest full of marvelous structures and festive decorations!  Over half a million brilliant lights set the farm aglow in the form of whimsical creatures, light-changing orbs, thematic installations, and interactive light displays. Cross’ Christmas light Spectacular is truly magical. Lights go on beginning November 23. Feel free to drive by and tune into 92.5 and enjoy the show!! Lights will be on daily from 5pm to 11pm and every weekend there will be a special guest in the driveway to greet you from 6pm to 9pm

With over 25,000 lights meticulously set to music that is sure to bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart, we invite you and your family to make Bruschi Christmas a part of your Christmas celebration this year! Starting the day after Thanksgiving to January 1. Open 5-11pm.

Christmas on the Farm at Apple Ridge Orchards
101 Jessup Rd., Warwick
Walk through our decorated farm market and orchards transformed into a winter wonderland. Full of breathtaking displays and dazzling lights, and plenty of good old fashioned Christmas spirit. Warm up by the fire pit and enjoy hot cocoa, make your own s’mores, and enjoy treats in our retail farm market. Plus, take pictures with Santa and listen to Santa’s singing reindeer. 5-9pm.

Fridays-Sundays, November 29-December 29. Free Admission. The Arboretum is all decked out for Christmas. Enjoy beautiful, garden-themed light features in the form of flowers, animals, and insects. 5-8pm. (Please arrive by 7pm)

Sullivan County

200 Hurd Rd., Bethel
November 29-December 30. Spanning across the winter season beginning just after Thanksgiving, experience drive-thru holiday winter lights on the Bethel Woods grounds from the comfort of your car. Simply turn off your headlights and follow the magical glow. There is nothing else quite like this in the area. 5-10pm.
