Stranded Inside during Halloween?

Join HVP at the Poughkeepsie Plaza on November 4 for a Halloween makeup date!

Can you believe it, two years in a row Mother Nature has tried to hinder Hudson Valley residents from trick-or-treating.

Last year, residents were stuck inside after an early snow storm knocked out power for days, weeks in some areas.

This year, it was Hurricane Sandy that took down trees and power lines. If you’re not able to go out trick-or-treating, come out to the Poughkeepsie Plaza on November 4th for candy, games and a whole lot more with Hudson Valley Parent!

Hudson Valley Parent and Dragon’s Den will have booths set up to test you and your kid’s superhero powers! Play matching games, bean bag toss and so much more to show off your child’s mighty dexterity. Not to mention, enjoy some free candy!

Giveaway galore! Every superhero should be rewarded for a job well done! Every child will go home with a free comic book courtesy of Dragon’s Den and we will give away free issues of our magazine! Plus, there will be prizes including gift cards and other super-secret surprises. You will not want to miss out on this adventure!
