Your kids are sure to have a blast

kid friendly saint patricks day traditions

We’ve put together a few of our favorite kid-friendly St. Paddy’s Day traditions. Here’s hoping the Luck of the Irish is with you and your family this Saint Patrick’s Day and every day!

1. Play a game of hot potato. Bonus for mom: No baking required!

2. Hold a potato hunt. That’s right, think Egg Hunt but with fingerling potatoes!

3. Read a fun book about the day. How to Catch a Leprechaun for grade school kids, Pete the Cat: The Great Leprechaun Chase for kids up to age 3, and Green for the older crowd.

4. Make a shamrock craft. Stock up on green construction paper and craft supplies and let your kids have a blast! Click here to see our special St. Paddy's Day play dough recipe!

5. Get in the kitchen. Have your kids help you make traditional Irish cuisine including potato dishes and soda bread. Don’t forget green cupcakes and green milkshakes! See recipes here.
