With the
CDC
recommending that people wear a face cloth when in they’re in the public and
social distancing is difficult to help prevent the spread of COVID-19,
be
sure you’re wearing your cloth face covering properly. It should:
- fit snugly but
comfortably against the side of the face
- be secured with ties or
ear loops
- include multiple layers
of fabric
- allow for breathing
without restriction
- be able to be laundered
and machine dried without damage or change to shape
Face cloths should be routinely washed in a washing machine,
depending on the frequency of use. When removing a used covering, do
not to touch your eyes, nose, or mouth and wash your hands immediately afterwards.
Make a face covering by following sew
and non-sew tutorials.
