Lauren Yunker is a physician assistant who specializes in primary care. She practices in the town of Highland Falls, New York. She attributes her professional success to an excellent medical and administrative staff and a collaborating supervising physician. Being the primary care providers for patients’ means that we are the gatekeepers of their medical care. I feel it's important to not only address medical needs but also manage their preventive health care. What I've learned in over 16 years of practice is that it comes down to listening to the patient, understanding what their concerns are and carrying out those plans to address the issues at hand in a way that's specific emotionally and financially to that patient.
