What you should know about print ads

You have decided that you want to advertise in Hudson Valley Parent magazine. (The suggestions included in this article work for any print publication.) But how do you know what to include in your ad to make sure it will work.

First, I suggest what ever you do, stick to it for a while to measure effectiveness. I am assuming that you have chosen Hudson Valley Parent magazine because you are interested in reaching those moms who live in the mid-Hudson Valley. That said, be sure that during the campaign you have tools for monitoring and measuring response. After the ads have run for a while (two to three months) review the response and modify the ads accordingly.
