Christmas Wishes Granted in the Hudson Valley

Homegrown Non-profits helping local families

The season of generosity is upon us and there is no better place to for the holidays than in the Hudson Valley. Not only do we get to experience our holiday set against the most perfect woodland back drop, but we also get to live among some very generous communities.

It may be common fashion these days for businesses and corporate run organizations to offer toys to families in need at Christmas. But there are some home grown Hudson Valley non-profits serving local needs.  These non-profits exist because residents recognized a need to fill and made it happen and some were created from struggles and families wanted to give back. But all of them are run by volunteers with heart.

Whether you are looking for places to donate to this holiday, or you are looking to apply for help this Christmas season this list should help! Many of the application deadlines are coming up quickly, but you can continue to donate if you are looking to help another family this year.
