Mad Science
Multiple Locations
845-294-5494

What is your camp philosophy?
As the leader in science enrichment programs for children of all ages, Mad Science of the Mid-Hudson has dedicated many years and resources to putting the "fun" in science. For almost 20 years we have carried out our mission to spark imaginative learning.

Our summer camp offers a daily combination of in-class discovery and exploration, outdoor games and physical activities, and hands-on applications of the scientific principles presented.

We want your child to channel their inner scientist and think outside the box. Children have so much fun that they forget they're learning!

Camp Kindness
Catskill Animal Sanctuary
316 Old Stage Rd., Saugerties
845-336-8447

What does a typical day at camp look like?
Our camp gives your child a summer experience that will stay with them for life!

Children are naturally compassionate and empathetic towards animals.

At Camp Kindness, we nurture these feelings while teaching campers how to care for 340 rescued farmed animals that reside on 148 acres at Catskill Animal Sanctuary in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

Your children will visit our fabulous rescued residents, pamper horses, make popsicles for pigs, create animal-friendly crafts and more. They'll learn to love and care for the animals by working in the barns, cleaning, grooming and making beds. Yummy vegan snacks and lunches are provided at no additional charge - No packing lunches!  Parents are invited to participate in a vegan cooking class too!

Each day at Camp Kindness is an empowering, memorable and fun way to connect with and learn about these precious animals.

Holmes Presbyterian Camp
60 Denton Lake Rd., Holmes
845-878-6383

What makes your camp unique?
Since 1946, children and youth have been exploring their faith at Holmes Presbyterian Camp and Conference Center. Together, we create a safe place where children and youth can think about, explore, and talk about faith-related issues.

At Holmes, we focus on building community within small groups of campers. We call these family groups.

Each day family groups spend their day swimming, hiking, campfire
cooking, practicing archery, singing, playing, and much more!

The whole camp community comes together for meals, worship, and special all-camp games and events.

Together we will explore how God can be seen in the vastness of creation, the power of community, and in our own hearts!

previously neglected, abused or homeless.
