From arts and culture, outdoor activities, and farm-to-table dining, Blooming

neighborhoods, villages and rural space, it’s an ideal spot to raise a family
and a great place for those looking for a quiet, relaxed area, while being able to enjoy culture and events in nearby areas. Blooming Grove’s large number of
parks includes the 216-acre Gonzaga Park, which features a wide number of outdoor
activities, such as hiking, field sports and picnicking.
Museum Village, located in Monroe, NY, is a large, unique open-air historical museum, who’s
interactive and hands-on offerings include vignettes of 19th century American
life. While the museum is closed during the winter, the Moffat Library hosts an
array of activities, year-round. Options include movies, crafts, dance classes,
game nights, knitting classes, lectures and more. Book clubs and reading groups
are available for all age from toddler through adult.
Families enjoy all that’s available at the Blooming Hill Organic Farm,
which is family owned and operated. Its farmer’s market is open through the
early afternoon on weekends all year. Brunch is served Fridays to Sundays and dinner
served on Friday and Saturday evenings. There is no truer definition of farm-to-table
dining than enjoying dinner or brunch at a working farm. Tours of the farm are
also available, and the venue’s event space can be reserved weddings and other happenings.

little league, swimming, cheerleading, Girls on the Run, basketball, soccer and
lacrosse. For those who like to volunteer, the Humane Society offers the
