Family-friendly concerts throughout the Hudson Valley

Throughout the summer, many local towns offer a series of free outdoor concerts perfect for the whole family. On certain nights, you can pack a picnic, grab your lawn chairs and blankets and head to one of these local lawns for a perfect summer night.

All of the concerts below are free within local parks and historic sites throughout many of our local towns and villages in the Hudson Valley. Find one near you!

Orange County

Chester
Chester NY Concert Series every Tuesday @ 7pm from June 13-September 5 (Rain dates are Wednesday @ 7pm). Jarvis Boone Memorial Amphitheater (behind Village Hall). Local Food and Craft Beverage on site. Click HERE to see dates and bands.

Cornwall
Town of Cornwall "Music in the Park" 2023. All concerts are held on Sunday evenings starting at 6:30 pm at Town Hall. From June 4 to August 27. Click HERE for full schedule.

Greenwood Lake
Greenwood Lake Summer Concert Series. Saturdays @ 7:30pm. Click HERE for the line-up. Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park, 7 Windermere Ave, Greenwood Lake. Beach restricted to residents of Town of Warwick NY only

Goshen
Illuminate Goshen 2023 Summer Concert Series. Summer Concert Series Lineup! Every Wednesday night July 12 - August 30 on the Village Green! Live music, food trucks, corn hole and maybe even a pop-up Art Walk or two throughout the summer. Village Green, S Church St & Main St, Goshen. Click HERE for bands and schedule.

Middletown
Middletown BID presents free live music on Thursdays and Fridays. Thursday performances are at the Run 4 Downtown Park, 6-8pm. Friday concerts are at John F. Degnan Square, 7-9pm. June 1-September 1. Click HERE for the full schedule.

Monroe
Village of Monroe’s 2023 Summer Concert Series at The Millponds Pavilion. Saturdays June 10-August 19 from 7pm to 9pm. See their full lineup HERE.

Newburgh
Make your own live music with the Newburgh Drum Circle which meets every second and fourth Tuesday at Safe Harbors Green (weather permitting) or Safe Harbors Lobby at the Ritz during inclement weather. All levels of experience welcome. Bring your own drum if you have one. They also have a few extra available to share.

Sugar Loaf

Village of Montgomery 
Summer Concert Series in downtown Montgomery. 6:30pm-8:30pm on Thursdays. Bring a chair! Clinton Street Bandstand, 134 Clinton St, Montgomery. See the full lineup of performers and times HERE

Walden
Walden's Music in the Grove Summer Concert Series. Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Bring your family and a chair and enjoy a great night out! Warwick
Free Concerts to the pubic in the beautiful downtown village of Warwick. Most concerts are on the Railroad Green. Bring your blankets, chairs, and dancing shoes. Fridays & Saturdays, June 3 - September 9. See the full lineup of performers and times HERE

West Point
The West Point Band is proud to announce its “Music Under the Stars” 2023 summer concert series. Most concerts will take place at the iconic Trophy Point Amphitheater. The band will also be in other locations on specific dates. Experience a piece of living history as the active-duty Soldiers of the West Point Band perform world-class music overlooking the waters that George Washington called “the key to the continent.” Audiences are welcome to bring picnics, explore the beautiful and historic grounds of West Point - the U.S. Military Academy, and enjoy scenic Hudson River views set to a soundtrack of music from across the spectrum of the American experience – classical, jazz, pop, patriotic, and more! Pleasant Valley

Concerts in the Park are held on monthly on Thursday evenings at Cady Field at 6pm. June 15 - September 14. Grab your lawn chairs, blankets and friends for a perfect evening. Click HERE for full schedule.

Free summer concerts at Maurer-Geering Park located off Geering Way on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. July 5 through August 30! Click HERE for the full schedule.

Pawling
Pawling Music By The Lake: Beach Edition. Saturdays 6-8pm at Lakeside Park. Bring your blanket and chairs and enjoy some free live music. See dates HERE.
