Throughout the summer, many local towns offer a series of free outdoor concerts perfect for the whole family. On certain nights, you can pack a picnic, grab your lawn chairs and blankets and head to one of these local lawns for a perfect summer night.

All of the concerts below are free within local parks and historic sites throughout many of our local towns and villages in the Hudson Valley. Find one near you!

Orange County

Chester
Chester NY Concert Series every Tuesday @ 7pm from June 3-September 9 (Rain dates are Wednesday @ 7pm). Jarvis Boone Memorial Amphitheater (behind Village Hall). Local Food and Craft Beverage on site. Click HERE to see dates and bands.

Cornwall
Town of Cornwall "Music in the Park" 2025. All concerts are held on Sunday evenings. Most start at 6:30 pm at Town Hall. Check schedule for start times. From June 1 to September 14. Click HERE for full schedule.

Cornwall-on-Hudson
The 2025 Cornwall-on-Hudson Bandstand Concert Series are held on Tuesday evenings 6:30-8pm at the Public Square/Plaza on Hudson St. From June 3 to August 26. The September series begins at 6pm through September 30. Click HERE for the full schedule.

Greenwood Lake
Greenwood Lake Summer Concert Series. Saturdays @ 7pm. May 31 – August 9. Click HERE for the line-up. Greenwood Amphitheater in Craig Park, Greenwood Lake. 

Middletown
Middletown BID presents free live music on Thursdays and Fridays. Thursday performances are at the Run 4 Downtown Park, 6-8pm. Friday concerts are at John F. Degnan Square, 7-9pm. June 5-September 5. Click HERE for the full schedule.

Newburgh
Make your own live music with the Newburgh Drum Circle which meets every second and fourth Tuesday at Safe Harbors Green (weather permitting) or Safe Harbors Lobby at the Ritz during inclement weather. All levels of experience welcome. 7-9pm. Bring your own drum if you have one. They also have a few extra available to share.

New Windsor
Music and a Market - 2025 Summer Concert Series. Wednesday’s, June 25—August 13 from 7 to 8:30pm. 
The *NEW* Market + Event opens at 6pm. New Windsor Town Hall Lawn, 555 Union Avenue. See their full lineup HERE.

Town of Mount Hope & Village of Otisville
Town of Mount Hope & Village of Otisville Summer Concert Series 2025. This year the concerts have been extended to two hours! Tuesday nights, July 1 to August 19 from 7 to 9pm. Mount Hope Town Park, 340 Finchville Turnpike, Otisville. See their full lineup HERE.

Warwick
Free Concerts to the pubic in the beautiful downtown village of Warwick. All concerts are on the Railroad Green or Stanley Deming Gazebo. Bring your blankets, chairs, and dancing shoes. Fridays & Saturdays, May 30 - September 19. See the full lineup of performers, locations, and times HERE

West Point
The West Point Band is thrilled to announce the return of its annual Music Under the Stars concert series at the scenic Trophy Point Amphitheater, with additional performances throughout the Hudson Valley. From June to September, our diverse lineup promises something for everyone, from classical melodies and Broadway hits — to patriotic anthems and rock, pop, and R&B. We’re adding extra excitement to our Independence Day celebration this year with a special program honoring 250 years of U.S. Army heritage— and yes, there will be fireworks! Audiences are welcome to bring picnics, visit the beautiful and historic grounds of the United States Military Academy, and enjoy scenic Hudson River views while the West Point Band performs a wide variety of world-class music. Fishkill
Free summer concerts at Maurer-Geering Park located off Geering Way on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. July 2 through August 27! Click HERE for the full schedule.

Poughkeepsie
Summer Music in the Parks 2025, Greenvale Park, 2260 New Hackensack Rd. Tuesdays, July 8 - August 12. Concert times vary. Remember to bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket. Click HERE to see bands and dates.

Town of Hyde Park 
Hyde Park’s Music in the Parks are Wednesday nights at 7pm in June & July; 6:30pm in August. The shows alternate between Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site, 119 Vanderbilt Park Rd., Hyde Park

Kingston

2025 Summer Music Season in the historic Maverick Concert Hall. Nestled in the woods, this rustic, barnlike structure, famed for its brilliant acoustics, offers audiences an intimate musical experience like no other. June 28-September 14, days and times vary. Click HERE for times and dates.

Highmount
Free Music on the Belleayre.

Bethel
Bethel Lakeside Music has concerts every Thursday from July 3 to September 4 at Gazebo Park in Kauneonga Lake. 6-8pm. Bring a blanket or a chair, friends, family or come alone. Click HERE for their band line-up.
