Best of pick your own peaches in the Hudson Valley

We've put together a list of places for your family to go pick juicy peaches! Don't forget: Always call before you head out to the farm as peaches are very temperamental. Some farms require reservations to pick your own fruit. Please check the website for rules and product availability.

Get ready to make peach jam, salsa, chutney, and cobbler!

Dutchess County

Fishkill Farms. Peaches and nectarines. 9 Fishkill Farms Rd., Hopewell Junction. Open all year. Must make reservations. If there are no times posted, be sure to check back as cancellations are made public right away. 845-897-4377.

Fraleigh’s Rose Hill Farm. Peaches, plums, apricots and nectarines. 19 Rose Hill Farm, Red Hook. You can also enjoy an amazing selection of food pop-ups, live music and orchard yoga! See their schedule online. Peaches are generally ripe early August-early September. 845-758-4215. 



Orange County

Apple Ridge Orchards, Peaches. 101 Jessup Rd., Warwick. Saturdays and Sundays, 9am- 5pm. Admission includes free parking, entrance to the peach orchard, petting zoo, play area and farm stand. PYO Peaches is now open for the season! Call the Farm Stand at (845) 987-7717 for Up-to-the-minute PYO peach info! 

Lawrence Farms. Peaches, apricots, plums and pears. 39 Colandrea Rd., Newburgh. Enjoy cookies, pies, ice cream and more at the farm stand. Peaches start ripening mid-late July. The farm is open May-October. 845-562-4268.

Ochs Orchards. Peaches & plums. 4 Ochs Ln., Rte. 94, Warwick. Farm market, homemade ice cream, & petting zoo. Open every day June-December 9am-6pm. 845-986-1591.

Soons Orchard. Peaches. 23 Soons Cir., New Hampton. Find fresh-ground nut butters, homemade apple sauce, fudge and more at the farm stand. Peaches are ready. Open all year. 845-374-5471.


Ulster County

DuBois Farms. Peaches and nectarines. 209 Perkinsville Rd., Highland. Visit with farm animals, and get some yummy pizza and ice cream too. Open August-November. 845-795-4037.

Prospect Hill Orchards. Peaches, plums, and nectarines. 40 Clarkes Ln., Milton. June-October. 845-795-2383. Check the website for up-to-date info.

Weed Orchards. Peaches. 43 Mt. Zion Rd., Marlboro. Check out the Weed Town Playground with your kids or grab some food from the cafe and have a lakeside picnic. Open July-October 10am-5pm. 845-236-0237.
