Most farms and orchards open around June for pick your own. The list below has been updated according to new regulations. You should visit the farm or orchard's website/Facebook page before visiting for any updated information. Please practice social distancing and happy picking.

Picking your own fruit is one of the many treasures of summer family memories. Cherries are done. Check websites before going. Scroll down to find a favorite farm near you.

Raspberries, currants, blackberries and blueberries are ready to pick. You can also find plums and apricots at some farms.   

Dutchess County

Barton Orchards, Cherries, blueberries and peaches. County Rte. 7 off Beekman Rd., Poughquag.  845-227-2306. PYO is currently closed. They will post details as it gets closer to picking season, typically late July or August.

Fishkill Farms, Cherries, black currants, blueberries and blackberries. You can also get peaches and nectarines in late summer. 9 Fishkill Farms Rd., Hopewell Junction. Open daily, 9am-6pm, year-round. Chemical-free, organic. 845-897-4377. Open, reservations required.




Greig Farm, Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. 223 Pitcher Ln., Red Hook. Open May to Oct. Open Market 9am-5pm, 7 days per week. 845-758-1234. Open 


Mead Orchards,  Blueberries, cherries, & strawberries. 15 Scism Rd., Tivoli. 12583. Aug.-Oct.: Sat.-Sun., Mon. holidays. 845-756-5641. Mon. to Wed. 9am to 3pm, Sat. & Sun. 9am to 5pmOpen, must buy tickets


Rose Hill FarmCherries, blueberries, plums, apricots, nectarines, peaches and apples. 8am-5pm, Thursday-Sunday. 19 Rose Hill Farm, Red Hook. 845-758-4215. Open





Orange County


Halfway Acres, Organic U-pick blueberries. Open daily dawn to dusk. 200 Purgatory Rd., Campbell Hall. 845-397-2127. Their blueberry season has ended. The still have blueberry bushes for sale.


Lawrence Farms, Strawberries, sweet cherries, tart cherries, currants, gooseberries and raspberries. Peaches, pear and plums are available in August. Open 9am-4pm daily through October. 39 Colandrea Rd., Newburgh. 12550. 845-562-4268. Open

Ochs Orchards, Strawberries, cherries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. 4 Ochs Ln., Rte. 94, Warwick. Open daily. 9am-5pm. June to Dec. Call for dates. 845-986-1591. Open

Pine Hill Farm You-pick raspberries, blueberries and pumpkins. Sweet corn, tomatoes, flowers, plants, eggplant, string beans and more. Special heirloom tomatoes and white Hungarian peppers. Open 10am-6pm daily through October. 3298 Route 94, Chester. Open


Ulster County


Dressel Farms, Strawberries. 9am-5pm. 271 Rte. 208, New Paltz. 845-255-0693. Open in June for strawberries


DuBois Farms. Strawberries, Nectarines, Plums, Apples, Peaches, Grapes, Tomatoes, Peppers, Eggplant, Pumpkins, Flowers, and more. 10am-5pm. 209 Perkinsville Rd., Highland. 845-795-4037.  Open


Jenkins and Leuken Orchards, Blackberries and raspberries. Thursday-Sunday from 9am-5pm. 69 Yankee Folley Rd, New Paltz. 12561. 845-255-0999. Open
