Most farms and orchards open around June for pick your own. You should visit the farm or orchard's website/Facebook page before visiting for any updated information. 

Picking your own fruit is one of the many treasures of summer family memories. Check websites before going. Scroll down to find a favorite farm near you.

Strawberries will be ripe in June. Cherries usually come in late June. Blueberries and raspberries should be ripe in July.

Dutchess County


Fishkill Farms, Cherries, black currants, blueberries and blackberries. You can also get peaches and nectarines in late summer. 9 Fishkill Farms Rd., Hopewell Junction. Open daily, 9am-6pm, beginning in June. Chemical-free, organic. Must make reservations. 845-897-4377. 


Greig Farm, Strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. 223 Pitcher Ln., Red Hook. Open May to Oct. 10am-7pm, 7 days per week. 845-758-1234. They have strawberries for sale, but no pick-your-own this summer


Mead Orchards,  Blueberries & cherries. 15 Scism Rd., Tivoli. 12583. Saturdays & Sundays. June 26 - August 29, 10am - 4pm. Monday, July 5. 10am - 4pm. Due to weather conditions they will be closed for the 2023 summer season


Rose Hill FarmCherries, blueberries, plums, apricots, nectarines, peaches and apples. 8am-5pm, Thursday-Sunday. Opens June 1. 19 Rose Hill Farm, Red Hook. 845-758-4215. Due to weather conditions they will be closed for the 2023 summer season





Orange County

Halfway Acres, Organic U-pick blueberries. Open daily dawn to dusk. 200 Purgatory Rd., Campbell Hall. 845-397-2127. Blueberry season starts June 24


Lawrence Farms, Strawberries, sweet cherries, tart cherries, currants, gooseberries and raspberries. Peaches, pear and plums are available in August. Open 9am-4pm daily through October. 39 Colandrea Rd., Newburgh. 12550. 845-562-4268. Strawberries and cherries are available

Ochs Orchards, Strawberries (no strawberries this year), cherries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. 4 Ochs Ln., Rte. 94, Warwick. Open daily. 9am-5pm. June to Dec. Call for dates. 845-986-1591. Closed weekend of June 18 & 19

Ulster County

Dressel Farms, Strawberries. 9am-5pm. 271 Rte. 208, New Paltz. 845-255-0693. 


DuBois Farms. Strawberries, Nectarines, Plums, Apples, Peaches, Grapes, Tomatoes, Peppers, Eggplant, Pumpkins, Flowers, and more. 10am-5pm. 209 Perkinsville Rd., Highland. 845-795-4037.  They will be open Monday, June 19th


Jenkins and Leuken Orchards, Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries,  and raspberries. Wednesday - Sunday from 9am-5pm. 69 Yankee Folley Rd, New Paltz. 12561. 845-255-0999. 


Prospect Hill Orchards, Cherries. Plums and apricots in July. Peaches in mid-August. Visit Thurs. or Fri. for smaller crowds. We look forward to seeing you! 340 Milton Turnpike, Milton 12547. Open June 2020. 845-795-2383. Closed for pick-your-own all summer


Saunderskill Farms, Strawberries and blueberries. 9am-6pm. Tuesday-Sunday 8am-4pm. 5100 Rte. 209, Accord. 12404.  845-626-2676. 



Kelder’s Farm You-pick fruits and vegetables; strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc... Open 10-6pm Daily. Closed Wednesday. 5755 Route 209, Kerhonkson. 

Wilklow Orchards, Blueberries, raspberries, currants, and gooseberries. Wednesday-Sunday from 10am-3pm. 341 Pancake Hollow Rd., Highland. 845-691-2339.
