So you're
scared to present? Youth ages 5-19, let us help! There’s no better time than
the New Year to set goals for expanding your skills. Join 4-H staff and alumnae
at any or all of our three sessions to hone-in on your presentation skills! We
will provide cutting-edge tips and instruction before sending you into breakout
rooms to apply what you learned to your presentation. Complete the Beginners Planning Form prior to the sessions to lay your foundation and get ready to
exchange ideas with new friends and skilled presenters. Sessions will take
place on January 5, 6, and 7 from 6 to 7 p.m. on Zoom.

Introductions, Transitions and Conclusions
These practice
sessions are intended to help youth presenters prepare for the Annual Public
Presentations event which takes place on January 9. Due to COVID-19, we will be
conducting this event virtually over Zoom and youth will be able to present
from the comfort of their own home. At this event, youth will receive feedback
about their presentation from experienced and knowledgeable adults who will
help them to become an better presenters. For those who want some healthy
competition, this event may qualify outstanding presenters for the North East
States Regional Presentation Event!
Registration
for the Public Presentations event on January 9 closes on January 5, 2021. Each
time-slot is 30 minutes between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Youth must complete the 4-H
enrollment paperwork to participate!
