STEAM classes from Beacon Institute for homeschoolers
Clarkson University's Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries is now offering enrichment programs for Pre-K through 8th-grade groups at their Dennings Point Water Ecology Center. (All classes are outdoors) Each group will explore Dennings Point State Park through STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) and nature-based learning activities.

The cost is $10 per student, per 2-hour session or $35 per student for 5 2-hour sessions. 10 people maximum per session. At least one adult chaperone must accompany the group.

Here is a review from one of their participating parents:
The weekly classes have been incredible for my 2nd grader. The teachers are incredible and their passion for science and nature continues to inspire the children each week. The workshops are engaging, hands-on, and most importantly, fun. It is a highlight of our week!—Parent
