Dutchess County

Bounce! Trampoline Sports. 2001 South Rd., Poughkeepsie. 845-206-4555. Bounce, skate, laser tag, try the Xtreme Challenge Course, play pickleball or Bounce mini golf, and more. Check the website for specials and times. Call or make your reservations online.

McCann Ice Arena. 14 Civic Center Plz., Poughkeepsie. 845-454-5800. Visit McCann Ice Arena for public ice-skating, watch a hockey game or join one of their many figure skating or hockey programs, classes or clinics. They also host birthday parties. Check their calendar and book your spot.

Chuck E. Cheese. 1895 South Rd., Poughkeepsie. 845-297-9500. Chuck E. Cheese has revamped their stores and have new arcade games, an interactive dance floor, trampoline zone, birthday parties, and much more! You can also scan coupons and save some cash.   

Mid- Hudson Discovery Museum. 75 N. Water St., Poughkeepsie. 845-471-0589. Explore, learn and create with exhibits that get kids moving, exploring, building, pretending, collaborating, creating and discovering. They also offer lots of fun and educational programs. For kids up to age 12.

DC Sports. 1630 Route 9, Wappingers Falls. 845-632-6621. Escape the elements with a PGA Tour Golf Simulator, rock climbing wall, an arcade, and indoor black light mini golf. Try their new all access pass for $26.

The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms. 6 Neptune Rd., Poughkeepsie. 845-462-1920. Open Monday through Friday 9am-10pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-8pm. From party walls with fun shapes to steep boulder problems & fun lead routes, there's something fun and challenging for everyone! Family fun for ages 4+.

Fun Max Adventure Park. 1404 Route 9, Wappingers Falls. (845) 925-5517. Family-friendly adventure in an 80,000 sq. ft. indoor amusement park. This spot features trampolines, rock climbing, ninja warrior courses, dodgeball, slam-dunk basketball, arcade games, and vast playgrounds. They also host parties.

Ulster County

Wood ‘N Wheel. 365 Rte. 9W., Ulster Park. 845-331-9680. Offering roller skating, laser tag, arcade, and bumper cars. They also offer outdoor fun in warmer weather. This place has fun for the whole family and for all ages. 

Play Haven. 320 Sawkill Rd., Kingston. 845-302-0011. This unique spot offers all kinds of ways for your kids to play. You can drop your kids, stay with your kids, or bring your kids and do some work. They also have lots of fun play events that you can register for. Started by a mom who wanted a safe, respectful space for children to play and explore, and also an opportunity for parents and caregivers to create community and get some time away.

Orange County:

Quinnz Pinz. 13-19 Railroad Ave., Middletown, (845) 343-8121. Enjoy open bowling times, escape rooms, or let loose and have fun in the arcade. Reservations recommended.

Billy Beez USA. Galleria at Crystal Run, 1 North Galleria Dr., Middletown. 845-673-3352. The kid’s choice to run, jump and slide in this 26,000 square foot play arena. They offer a variety of features and activities, from slides to sports courts, tunnels to towers, and ball blasters to bouncy trampolines.

Fit Kid Play and Party Place260 Route 32, Central Valley. (845) 827-5762. Fit Kid Play and Party Place is fun, safe, and unique! For kids age 1-12. This spot offers four full stories and 5500 square feet of fun… including colorful slides, tunnels, ball pit, balls shooting guns, zip line, seesaw swing and so much more. Drop-in for open playtime, or make a reservation for an awesome birthday party, special event, or fundraiser!

The Independent Play Company. 153 Greenwich Ave Suite 3, Goshen. (631) 455-5828. The Independent Play Company offers an inclusive, and therapeutic play space to promote age-appropriate development of speech, cognitive, socioemotional, and physical skills, for ALL kiddos, ages birth to five years old. It also serves to provide a community space for families to connect, play and learn.

Pat Tarsio Lanes. 173 South Plank Rd., Newburgh. 845-562-5250. For over 50 years the Tarsio family has been giving local families affordable bowling fun. Enjoy a high energy entertaining experience with a night of cosmic bowling.

The Castle Fun Center. 109 Brookside Ave., Chester. 845-469-2116. Indoor/outdoor amusement park offering an Inflatapark, Ballocity, roller skating, laser tag and maze, rock wall, arcade, bowling, ax throwing, seasonal outdoor rides and mini golf. 

Ice Time Sports Complex. 21 Lakeside Rd., Newburgh. 845-567-0005. Ice Time Sports Complex is the Hudson Valley’s premier ice skating and sports facility that hosts a variety of programs for figure skaters, hockey players and patrons of all ages. Come for public skating, stick time, host a birthday party and more.

Little Stars Pediatric Therapy. 145 Windsor Highway, New Windsor. (845) 764-0785. Little Stars pediatric occupational therapy is a private practice serving babies and children. They offer an Open Sensory Gym sessions are a fun and welcoming way for kids to explore, play, and connect! Every session includes free play in the sensory gym along with a sensory craft table for added creativity and fun.

Oceans Playhouse. 95 Maher Ln., Unit 22, Harriman. (845) 244-0545. Harriman and Woodbury's only indoor playground. This five-star spot is great for little kids according to their reviews. There is a ball pit, slides, places to climb and more. They also do birthday parties.

Pin Street. 154 Rt. 94 S, Warwick. 845-986-3565. A family-owned bowling center with 28 synthetic bowling lanes (bumpers always available), food concession, an arcade room, and billiards. Handicap accessible.

The Little Lane. 129 State Route 94S, Ste 2, Warwick. 845-544-1675. Founded by two local moms, this indoor play space offers a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore, learn, and play. With a variety of interactive activities, from climbing structures to imaginative play areas, children are sure to have a blast while developing important skills. Parents can sit back or join in the fun as your children let loose and let their imaginations run wild!

Urban Air Adventure Park1 Galleria Drive Middletown. (518) 723-5210. Urban Air is a full-service family entertainment adventure park attractions for all ages. Go-karts, virtual reality, Sky Rider coaster, ropes course and tubes indoor playground, and more. There is even a spot for kids 7 and under. 

Sullivan County

Liberty Heights. 1939 State Rte. 52, Liberty. (845) 747-8080. This indoor park offers trampolines, laser tag, virtual reality, arcade, climbing walls, basketball, dodge ball, a jungle gym (perfect for the little ones), and lots more.
