A county-by-county list of fireworks and fun!

Due to the pandemic, many towns have canceled their July 4th Fireworks. Some town have limited celebrations. We updated our list and will do our best to keep up with any changes.

**Please double check all dates and times before heading out to an event.

Maybrook - Canceled for 2020
Enjoy live music and fireworks. Frederick Meyers Veteran's Memorial Park.

Goshen- July 6, 9am-5pm & July 7, 10am-5pm - Postponed for 2020
Annual 2-day event. Celebrate the Fourth with over 150 vendors on the village green. Live entertainment, 5K/10K race, food, children’s rides and harness racing at the Historic Track. First Presbyterian Church Park, 33 Park Place, Goshen.

Fort MontgomeryCanceled for 2020
There will be camp activities and military drills throughout the day. Witness a cannon being fired. Fort Montgomery State Historic Site.

Town of Wallkill - July 4, 6pm Canceled for 2020
There will be live music and DJ sets, on-site concessions and free grandstand seating. Orange County Fairgrounds, Middletown.

Highland Falls - July 3, 5-6pm & July 4, 8am-9pm Canceled for 2020
Family-friendly fun all weekend includes games, races, music, parade and fireworks. Roe Park, Highland Falls.

Montgomery - July 18, 6-10pm
Orange County’s Freedom Fest fireworks is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Montgomery. The scheduling of the event is based on regs coming down from the state. Gates are scheduled to open at 6 p.m. fireworks beginning at dusk. Residents are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks – no glass bottles are permitted.

Monroe- July 3, 4-11pm Canceled for 2020
Fireworks start approximately 9PM at Millpond Park. Rain date July 5. 

Cornwall - July 4, 9:30pm
Most activities will be virtual. See website for details which are still subject to change.

West Point- July 6, 7:30 No info 
Celebrate America's independence with the Army's favorite party band. Bring a picnic and your dancing shoes for a fantastic evening of great music and fireworks.

New Windsor- July 4, 10am-4pm; Canceled for 2020
Knox’s Headquarters will be firing a firing of a small cannon at 1 & 4pm. Knox’s Headquarters State Historic Site, 289, Old Forge Hill Rd, New Windsor.

Dutchess County

Amenia - July 4
iHeartMedia of the Hudson Valley will host events at three sites in Dutchess County: Rhinebeck, Wappinger and Amenia.  The radio group will broadcast synchronized patriotic music to the fireworks on several of their stations. Gates open to vehicles at each location at 7:30 pm. Fireworks begin at 9.30 pm. Parking is limited to 300 cars at Silo Ridge Field Club Equestrian Center (Keane Stud), 217 Depot Hill Road, Amenia.

East Fishkill - July 3, No current information
A concert will take place at Hopewell Recreation Park Pavilion featuring Andy & the Newhearts at 7PM and fireworks 9:15PM. 392 Route 376, Hopewell Junction.

Germantown- July 4, 2-10pm Canceled for 2020
An old-fashioned Independence Day with 18th century crafts, reenactors, music and entertainment. Enjoy live music, hot food and a view of the Saugerties Fireworks over the Hudson. Clermont State Historic Site

Poughkeepsie- July 4, 7-10pm Canceled for 2020
4th of July Spectacular fireworks will begin around 9:00 pm and can be viewed from the waterfront, Waryas Park (free), or the Walkway Over the Hudson (tickets required). Donations appreciated.

Rhinebeck - July 4
iHeartMedia of the Hudson Valley will host events from three sites in Dutchess County: Rhinebeck, Wappinger and Amenia.  The radio group will broadcast synchronized patriotic music to the fireworks on several of their stations. Gates open to vehicles at each location at 7:30 pm. Fireworks begin at 9.30 pm. Parking is limited at Dutchess County Fairgrounds to 3,000 cars. Dutchess County Fairgrounds, 6636 Route 9, Rhinebeck. 

Wappinger - July 4
iHeartMedia of the Hudson Valley will host events from three sites in Dutchess County: Rhinebeck, Wappinger and Amenia.  The radio group will broadcast synchronized patriotic music to the fireworks on several of their stations. Gates open to vehicles at each location at 7:30 pm. Fireworks begin at 9.30 pm. Parking is limited to 500 cars at Dutchess Stadium, 1500 Route 9D, Wappinger. 

Pawling - July 6, 4-10pm Canceled for 2020
Join us for an evening of music, barbecue and a spectacular fireworks show.

Ulster County

Kingston - July 4, 7:30 & July 5, 4pm Fireworks July 4
There will be fireworks this year. Ulster County will be hosting a July 4th Community Fireworks Show located at the TechCity parking lot at 300 Enterprise Drive, Kingston. The lots will open at 7:30 pm and the fireworks presentation will begin at dusk. On July 5th, communities throughout Ulster County will recognize essential workers at a motorcade starting at Dietz Stadium at 4 pm in Kingston.
 This event is free for all residents.

Ellenville - July 4, dusk
The Fourth of July Committee is planning a modified parade! The parade is being re-worked to abide by state and local laws. Also the fireworks display will be held behind the Old V.A.W. building near Joseph Y. Resnick Airport, 199 Airport Rd, Ellenville.

Accord - July 3,
Satisfy your need for speed and fireworks too with a special holiday weekend race at the Accord Speedway's Fireworks Extravaganza and chicken 299 Whitfield Rd., Accord. Check their website for up-to-date details.

Saugerties- July 5, Parade time to be announced
There will be a July 5th motorcade-style parade, with no marchers. No fireworks this year.

Sullivan County

Liberty, July 4, 10:30am-4:30pm Canceled for 2020 
The Liberty festival is a fun filled day with games, food, face painting, vendors, music, entertainment, and much more for the entire family! Main St. & La Polt Park.
