Do you need plans for this 4th of July weekend? Well look no further. Here are a list of family friendly parades and festivals that are occurring for this Independence Day weekend in the Hudson Valley. These are great places where you can celebrate our country and enjoy the fireworks!

Orange County

Maybrook- June 29, 7-10pm
Enjoy live music and fireworks. Frederick Meyers Veteran's Memorial Park.

Goshen- June 30, 9am-5pm & July 1, 10am-5pm
Annual 2-day event. Celebrate the Fourth with over 150 vendors on the village green. Live entertainment, 5K/10K race, food, children’s rides and harness racing at the Historic Track. First Presbyterian Church Park, 33 Park Place, Goshen.

Highland Falls- June 30, 6-8pm, July 1, 3-8pm, July 2, 6-8pm & July 4, 8am-9pm
Family-friendly fun all weekend includes games, races, music, parade and fireworks. Roe Park, Highland Falls.

Newburgh- July 3, 6-10pm
Food, games and more. Fireworks just after dark at Algonquin Park.

Monroe- July 3, 6-9:30pm
Fireworks start approximately 9PM at Millpond Park. Rain date Jul 6.

Newburgh- July 4 (rain date July 5)
Fireworks will light up the City of Newburgh skyline on the night of July 4th. The fireworks display will be launched at the People's Waterfront Park at approximately 9pm. The day's festivities will begin at 12 noon at UNICO Park.

Cornwall- July 4, 7am-10pm
Come celebrate with a full day of festivities including breakfast, pet show, children's art show, inflatables, games, music, magic, Lobster sale, pie eating contest, shows, and parade ending with fireworks at 9:30pm. Visit the website for locations and details.

West Point- July 7, 7:30 Rain date 7/8
Celebrate America's independence with the Army's favorite party band, the Benny Havens Band. Bring a picnic and your dancing shoes for a fantastic evening of great music and fireworks.

New Windsor- July 4
Two sites will be hallowed by the soldiers who won our independence. At Knox’s Headquarters take a house tour and a firing of a small cannon at 1&4pm. At New Windsor Cantonment see a small cannon fired at 2pm followed by a children’s musket drill and at 3pm a reading of the Deleration of Independence and another military demo. Knox’s Headquarters State Historic Site.

Newburgh- July4, 8-10pm. Pride of the Hudson Fireworks Cruise.

Dutchess County

Beacon- July 1, 5-10pm
Live music, food, and fun for kids and adults followed by fireworks at dusk. Memorial Park, Beacon.

Germantown- July 4, 2-10pm
An old-fashioned Independence Day with 18th century crafts, reenactors, music and entertainment. Enjoy live music, hot food and a view of the Saugerties Fireworks over the Hudson. Clermont State Historic Site

Poughkeepsie- July 4, 7-10pm
4th of July Spectacular fireworks will begin around 9:00 pm and can be viewed from the waterfront, Waryas Park (free), or the Walkway Over the Hudson (tickets required). Donations appreciated.

Hyde Park- July 4, 10am-12pm
Celebrating 100 year anniversary of Veteran's Day. Parade will start at 10am at the Roosevelt Movie Theatre. Refreshments will be available.

Ulster County

Accord- June 29, 5:30pm
Satisfy your need for speed and firworks too with a special holiday weekend race at the Accord Speedway's Fireworks Extravaganza and chicken BBQ! 5pm. 299 Whitfield Rd., Accord.

Lloyd- July 6, 6-10pm
Celebrations start at 6pm with live music and vendors plus a bounce house for the kids. Fireworks at dark. Town Field, behind the Methodist Church, Lloyd.

Rosendale- July 4
Hear the words that changed the world forever with a reading of the Declaration of Independence. Rosendale Theater.

Saugerties- July 4, 11am
The parade, organized by the Saugerties Fire Department, starts at 11am at the High School and finishes at Cantine Field. Fireworks are at Cantine Field.

Sullivan County

Liberty, July 4
The Liberty festival is a fun filled day with games, food, face painting, vendors, music, entertainment, and much more for the entire family! Classic car show at 10:30am, Music and Parade at noon. Main St. & La Polt Park.
