Do you need plans for this 4th of July weekend? Well look no further. Here are a list of family friendly parades and festivals that are occurring for this Independence Day weekend in the Hudson Valley. These are great places where you can celebrate our country and enjoy the fireworks!

Orange County

Maybrook: June 28, 7-1pm
Enjoy live music and fireworks. Frederick Meyers Veteran's Memorial Park.

Goshen- July 6, 9am-5pm & July 7, 10am-5pm
Annual 2-day event. Celebrate the Fourth with over 150 vendors on the village green. Live entertainment, 5K/10K race, food, children’s rides and harness racing at the Historic Track. First Presbyterian Church Park, 33 Park Place, Goshen.

Fort Montgomery - July 3, 12-4pm
There will be camp activities and military drills throughout the day. Witness a cannon being fired. Fort Montgomery State Historic Site.

Town of Wallkill - July 4, 6pm
There will be live music and DJ sets, on-site concessions and free grandstand seating. Orange County Fairgrounds, Middletown.

Highland Falls- July 3, 5-6pm & July 4, 8am-9pm
Family-friendly fun all weekend includes games, races, music, parade and fireworks. Roe Park, Highland Falls.

Newburgh- July 3, 6-10pm
Food, games and more. Fireworks just after dark at Algonquin Park.

Monroe- July 3, 4-11pm
Fireworks start approximately 9PM at Millpond Park. Rain date July 5.

Cornwall- July 4, 7am-10pm
Come celebrate with a full day of festivities including breakfast, pet show, children's art show, inflatables, games, music, magic, Lobster sale, pie eating contest, shows, and parade ending with fireworks at 9:30pm. Cornwall Town Hall Park.

West Point- July 6, 7:30 Rain date 7/7
Celebrate America's independence with the Army's favorite party band. Bring a picnic and your dancing shoes for a fantastic evening of great music and fireworks.

New Windsor- July 4, 10am-4pm
 
At Knox’s Headquarters take a house tour at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, or 4pm and a firing of a small cannon at 1 & 4pm. Knox’s Headquarters State Historic Site.

Dutchess County

Germantown- July 4, 2-10pm
An old-fashioned Independence Day with 18th century crafts, reenactors, music and entertainment. Enjoy live music, hot food and a view of the Saugerties Fireworks over the Hudson. Clermont State Historic Site

Poughkeepsie- July 4, 7-10pm Rain date July 5
4th of July Spectacular fireworks will begin around 9:00 pm and can be viewed from the waterfront, Waryas Park (free), or the Walkway Over the Hudson (tickets required). Donations appreciated.

Hyde Park- July 4, 10am-1pm
Parade will start at 10am at the Roosevelt Movie Theatre. Refreshments will be available.

Pawling - July 6, 4-10pm
Join us for an evening of music, barbecue and a spectacular fireworks show.

Ulster County

Kingston - July 2 - July 6
Visit to play entertaining and historic games like hoop rolling, whirligigs, Jacob's ladder and more. Step behind our "Colonial Kids" portraits to see what you might have looked like. Matthewis Persen House Museum.

Accord- June 28, 5:30pm
Satisfy your need for speed and firworks too with a special holiday weekend race at the Accord Speedway's Fireworks Extravaganza and chicken BBQ! 299 Whitfield Rd., Accord.

New Paltz - July 1 - July 5
Delight in festive events throughout the day. An overnight reservation is required to join in the 4th of July activities.

Saugerties- July 4, 11am
The parade, organized by the Saugerties Fire Department, starts at 11am at the High School and finishes at Cantine Field. Fireworks are at Cantine Field.

Sullivan County

Liberty, July 4, 10:30am-4:30pm Rain date July 6
The Liberty festival is a fun filled day with games, food, face painting, vendors, music, entertainment, and much more for the entire family! Main St. & La Polt Park.
