Hudson Valley Comic Con uses comics and cosplay to promote reading and science to the kids of our community. We attend local events and bring costumed characters for free family photo ops, read to kids, or hand out free comic books. We host a yearly comic book convention that brings over 100 vendors, guests, panels, and more to the Hudson Valley area where we celebrate all types of pop culture.
The 11th annual Millbrook Literary Festival promises to provide a full day of exciting activities for all ages, from toddler to adult. For over 100 years, the Orange County Fair has been entertaining families in the Hudson Valley and beyond. Each year, we provide the best in family entertainment, local and national music, racing and auto events and of course amazing amusement rides. Since 1886, this county fair has been a family event promoting local agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and good, old-fashioned fun. Admission includes all entertainment, shows, parking and exhibits.
The Sinterklaas Festival draws on the Hudson Valley’s Dutch heritage at an all day, free event that dazzles the community. Children can get involved in the hands-on festivities by making crowns and branches all day. Kids will be in awe of the interactive parade with giant puppets as it strolls through the village. Join us for music, dancing, tightrope walking and even fire juggling!
