Yes and No. I think museums help feed a inreetst in science and the world around a child, but I think a lot of it depends on the make-up of the child and the child's everyday environment. This includes parents, teachers, and other role models. I became inreetsted in science because my father took the time to explain the beauty, the uniqueness, and the why of everything around me. He wasn't a scientist, but he appreciated the complexity and the simplicity of nature.
